Why Early Access?

“Netherhunt is built around replayable runs, character progression, build variety, and long-term balance. Early Access gives us the opportunity to improve these systems with feedback from players while the game continues to grow.

We want to learn which weapons, talents, rites, potions, equipment effects, enemies, and difficulty curves create the most satisfying hunts. Player feedback will help us prioritize polish, balance, quality-of-life improvements, and future content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Netherhunt to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. This timeframe may change as we evaluate player feedback and the scope of improvements needed to deliver the best possible experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand upon the foundations available in Early Access. We plan to continue refining combat, progression, balance, user experience, and overall performance.

We also plan to explore additional content such as new challenges, build options, enemies, equipment, progression paths, and further improvements to existing realms and game modes. Our priorities may evolve based on community feedback and development needs.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Netherhunt is playable from start to finish as a replayable dark fantasy survival roguelite.

The current version includes intense 10-minute survival runs, two playable hunters with distinct combat styles, three cursed realms, an Endless Mode, demonic hordes, imps, undead enemies, elites, bosses, weapons, upgrades, synergies, potions, Church rites, permanent talents granted by Sargoth the chained lich, equipment, reforging with Garrick, and daily and weekly quests.

The core gameplay loop is complete, while balancing, polish, additional content, and quality-of-life improvements remain in active development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Netherhunt at a lower price during Early Access. We plan to increase the base price by 20% once when Early Access ends, reflecting the additional content and improvements added during development. We do not plan further price increases during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through the Steam Community Hub, discussions, player feedback, and regular development updates.

We will monitor feedback about combat balance, difficulty, progression, performance, accessibility, bugs, and quality-of-life improvements. Player suggestions and reports will help guide our priorities throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

Netherhunt is a dark fantasy survival roguelite where every run turns you into an even more powerful hunter.

Enter cursed realms ruled by demons and deadly creatures. Choose your hunter, survive relentless hordes, gather experience, and craft a build with powerful weapons, upgrades, and synergies.

Strengthen your hero with potions, church rites, profane upgrades, and by reforging your items with Garrick to defeat the hordes and ultimate evils.

Every run is a fight for survival: weave through swarms of enemies, unleash devastating attacks, defeat elite foes, and advance through hostile lands where danger grows with every moment. You must stop the Nether from consuming what remains of humanity.
