About This Game

The bar opens its doors every night, and only at night.

You arrive with a coin, but your money is worthless here. You've cheated death, and now you're off the list of those who can enter the afterlife. You meet with other characters who have achieved the same fate, and once a night, one of you can challenge death again for entry.

Last Drop Tavern is a psychological roguelite about gambling on surface tension. You and your opponent take turns dropping coins and strange objects into a shared glass. The level slowly rises with each drop. Whoever makes it overflow loses the round, and whoever loses is banned from the bar.

Read the glass, not a number.

There's no interface. No health bar. No percentage floating in the corner. The only thing that tells you how close you are to the edge is the liquid itself: the meniscus bulging over the rim, the way the surface trembles. Every piece of information in the game is a physical object in the bar. You learn to read the glass like a player reads a face.

Every coin is a memory.

Coins aren't just tokens. Each one you mint has weight, a symbol, and a price. Acquire or create strange relics between duels, build a hand that creates combos, and when you fall, forge a new coin from your own metal before trying again. If you defeat an opponent, you keep their die and, with it,

the power to mint coins they'll never see coming.

Short, intense, replayable.

A single duel lasts a few tense minutes. A full game in the bar lasts thirty to forty minutes. Designed to be started, lost, and immediately resumed.

Features:

  • A glass with realistic physics where every drop counts

  • 100% diegetic presentation: no floating menus

  • A deck of coins with effects that chain together in unexpected and surprising combos

  • Charismatic and ambiguous rivals with reactive personalities

  • Objects that are never explained: you discover what they do

  • A subworld that you gradually build, discovering your opponents and their stories.

Toss the coin. Don't be the one to spill it.
