Step into the role of a scientist who considers ethics nothing more than an obstacle standing in the way of great discoveries. Study DNA, process human bodies into biomass, grow mutated limbs, and create obedient beasts.

Design mutants for specific purposes, send them on missions to the farthest corners of the world, and gather materials for your next experiments. When the police or government forces begin taking an interest in your activities, use your creations to defend the laboratory.

All in the name of science. And world domination.

In Creature Lab 2, humans are your research material.

Acquire DNA from animals, insects, and other organisms to discover new mutations. Grow limbs covered in spikes, equipped with claws, or adapted for faster movement, higher jumps, and more effective stealth.

Combine mutated limbs, body types, and statistics to create your own mutant builds. Design fast scouts, resilient defenders, or beasts that rely on overwhelming brute force.

Use laboratory equipment to grow limbs from biomass and mutagen, replace bodily fluids with mutagen, and erase the memories of your future creations. Attach completed body parts using a stem-cell-infused hydrogel.

Examine DNA, ingredients, and prepared substances under a microscope. Discover their properties and study the reactions that occur when they are combined.

There are 14 ingredients to identify, divided into organic, mineral, and synthetic categories. Combine them using an alembic and a catalyst to create potions, elixirs, and mutagens.

Potions are made from two ingredients and affect specific mutant statistics. Combine two potions into a mutagen to merge their effects and deliberately develop the strength, speed, or other abilities of your creatures.

Elixirs are prepared according to specific recipes. They can affect the scientist, mutants, and the surrounding environment. Some can be consumed, others thrown like bombs, while the most valuable ones can be sold on the black market.

Every discovery opens the way to new experiments.

Select the right mutants for missions taking place in different parts of the globe. Use their specializations—speed, stealth, or brute force—to complete each objective.

Missions are also a source of research materials. Capture humans and recover body parts, then process them in a grinder to produce the biomass required to grow new limbs. Collect chemicals and samples that can be used to create new substances.

Every expedition fuels the next research cycle: gather materials, return to the laboratory, and create even more powerful mutants.

Step by step, you will bring new regions of the world under the control of science.

Your creatures can also assist you inside the laboratory. Order them to move objects, deliver materials, clean up, and perform other everyday tasks.

When the facility is attacked by the police or government forces, use your mutants to defend it. Repel successive waves of enemies in battles combining a first-person perspective with tower-defense mechanics. Position your beasts, take advantage of their specializations, and join the fight yourself.

The strength, speed, and endurance of your mutants directly affect their performance during defensive encounters. The way you design them may determine the fate of the entire laboratory.

You are accompanied by CL-OS, a holographic artificial intelligence that analyzes experiments, helps manage the facility, and comments on your decisions. Usually cynically. Occasionally helpfully. Almost never when asked.

CL-OS remains by your side as the suspicious operation in your basement gradually transforms into a global empire of mad science.
