After falling on the battlefield during the war between the Aztecs and the Spanish, Queen Fraya awakens inside a temple beyond death. There, she meets Mayinalli: a cosmic god who gathers fallen warriors from different cultures, eras, dimensions, and realities.

To Mayinalli, Fraya is merely another addition to his collection—one more gladiator condemned to fight his champions for eternity.
