Billionth Soul is an idle roguelite deckbuilder set aboard a failing generation ship. This free demo is the colony's opening act: begin with one thawed sleeper and climb the first three population targets, from First Thaw to Township, before life support runs out.

WHAT THE DEMO INCLUDES

The complete roguelite loop: draft and place Habitat, System, and Program cards on the colony grid. Position matters: neighboring cards can strengthen, copy, accelerate, or undermine one another.

The cold equation: every new soul brings the colony closer to its target, but a larger colony consumes life support faster. Vent life support for an immediate surge of souls when time is abundant. Scrub population to recover precious seconds when extinction is near.

Victory at Township: demo runs are won at 100,000 souls, a complete early-game arc from a single thawed sleeper.

Permanent progression: recover Salvage after every attempt and unlock the opening tiers of the research tree to build stronger strategies across runs.

Achievements earned in the demo are recorded.

WHAT WAITS IN THE FULL GAME

The real climb: seven more population targets beyond Township, ending at Ecumenopolis and the billionth soul.

The full research tree and Core economy, the deeper card pool, ten difficulty tiers, 42 Achievements, winner handicaps that punish repeated strategies, the shared seeded Daily Trial, and the endless expansion beyond the billionth soul.

You cannot save everyone on the first try. The demo is where you learn that.
