About This Game

The Well Kept is a top-down survival-exploration game set in a hand-inked dark-fairytale world. The Murk has swallowed the roads and corrupted the old wellsprings. What happens next is up to you.

Progress Through Discovery & Crafting

Find new tools to open paths through the world. You'll need equipment, relics, weapon augmentations, recipes, and recruited helpers to prepare for the fight.

Build Anywhere

Gather materials as you travel and put them to use. Build outposts, farms, workshops, and homes. Make new crafting stations to improve your gear, or just decorate until it feels like home.

Fight Waves of Enemies

Prepare your gear, then enter the arena to fight relentless hordes and massive bosses.

Heal a Living World

As you progress, the surrounding world changes with you. Heal the water and soil, reopen trade routes, and reconnect settlements that have been separated for generations.

Play Alone or Share the Screen

Add a friend to the same world for two-player local co-op. Both players share the screen and can revive one another during horde battles. Online multiplayer is not included.
