About This Game

The night does the killing. The dawn does the choosing.

Hexwright is a grim dark-fantasy bullet-heaven roguelite. You do not aim and you do not

fire — your magic fires itself. What you control is its shape, effects and composition.

Every night the dark closes in and the wave comes. Survive it, and at first light the world

stops: the draft opens, and you take one glyph. That glyph is a Form, and it rewrites how your

magic behaves for the rest of the run.

Forms stack. Draft the same one twice and it deepens; spread your draft and you fight a

different fight. No run hands you the same set twice.

A world with a clock

Nights are short and dark. Dawn is shorter — a narrow band of light where the wave is still

alive and the sky is coming up, and it is the most dangerous and the most beautiful part of

the loop.
