Leave the Taskbar Mode window open and your birthstone envoys keep exploring and leveling up while you work or play something else. Open the main game and two opposing stories await: party battles on the God Side, tower defense and castle-town building on the Demon King Side.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access so players can help us improve story clarity, progression pacing, the balance of party battles and tower defense, Taskbar Mode usability, and overall stability based on hands-on feedback before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are planning for roughly 2 to 4 months of Early Access - roughly autumn to winter 2026. The game is already close to the state we want for the full version, so the main work during Early Access is fixing the problems players report and finishing the remaining polish, rather than building large new systems. If feedback shows we need more time to reach the quality we want, we will update this estimate on the store page and in our update notes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is mainly about stability and completeness rather than a large content gate. During Early Access we plan to fix the issues players report and tune progression and balance. Additional content - story from Chapter 4 onward, Tower Defense stages from 1-11 onward, the outside map with gathering and vehicles, the Magic Racetrack, and seasonal event hubs - is planned as ongoing updates, and some of it may arrive after the full release rather than before it.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes God-side and Demon-side story Chapters 1–3, Demon-side Tower Defense stages 1-1 through 1-10, Demon King Castle and Castle Town growth, and Taskbar Mode. Later chapters and the other features listed above are not yet playable.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base game is planned to remain free to play during Early Access and after full release. The current Early Access version has no real-money purchases. If optional purchases are added in the future, their contents will be disclosed before they are introduced.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will gather feedback through the Steam Community on story clarity, progression pace, party-battle and tower-defense balance, taskbar-mode usability, performance, and bugs. We will share update notes and improve the game while reporting how feedback is being addressed.”

About This Game

Re:BirthStone is an RPG/strategy about raising 24 birthstone envoys across two opposing stories — the God Side and the Demon King Side.

Leave the Window Open and the Adventure Keeps Going

In Taskbar Mode, a small window keeps your envoys exploring and growing in real time. Resize it however you like, and as long as you leave it open you can close the main game entirely. Work, play something else — your envoys keep fighting and leveling up. Come back to collect what they earned, then jump straight into the main game.

24 Birthstone Envoys

Twelve envoys on the God Side, twelve on the Demon King Side. Raise your favorites, build out their equipment, skills, and costumes, and form a party that is entirely your own.

Two Sides, Two Ways to Play

On the God Side, take a hand-picked party of four into battle. On the Demon King Side, command tower defense against the invasion, build the Demon King's Castle, and grow the castle town around it. One world, two completely different ways to play.

So Who Do You Bring Down — the Demon King, or the Gods?

Neither side is willing to give up what it stands for. Follow the ties between the birthstone envoys and close in on the truth behind the two opposing sides.

This is an advance preview version; content may change in the full release.

Some pre-generated artwork and visual assets used in the game and its store and marketing materials were created with generative AI tools, then selected, edited, and integrated by the development team.
