Re:BirthStone Steam End User License Agreement
Revision: STEAM-EULA-EN-2026-07-31
Effective date: July 31, 2026
1. Operator and scope
This agreement governs use of the Re:BirthStone series games, accounts, online features, and related services (the “Service”) provided by Re:BirthStone Project (the “Operator”).
Please read and accept this agreement before installing, launching, or using the Steam version. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. Users under 18 may not create an account or use the Service. You represent that you have legal capacity to enter this agreement in your place of residence and will follow applicable law and platform terms.
3. Shared Re:BirthStone account
1. A Re:BirthStone account is a shared account that may be used across supported games in the Re:BirthStone series.
2. In the Steam version, after Steam authentication is successfully verified, the Service may link an existing shared account or automatically create one for a user who does not yet have one.
3. Optional email registration or linking may be offered for account recovery, important notices, and transfer between supported games. If an email is linked, the on-screen flow governs verification and password reset.
4. You must protect your account and authentication methods and must not sell, transfer, lend, or share them with another person.
5. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, incorrect linking, or compromised credentials.
6. A Steam account may normally be linked to only one shared Re:BirthStone account. Unlinking or relinking may require identity checks, purchase-history verification, a waiting period, or another anti-fraud procedure.
7. Deleting a shared account may affect data and links across multiple supported Re:BirthStone titles. Before final deletion, the Operator will identify the affected scope. Records necessary for law, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or security may be retained for an appropriate period.
4. License
Subject to this agreement, the Operator grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. The Operator and its licensors retain all ownership, copyright, and other rights in the Service and its content.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use cheats, unauthorized automation, modified clients, exploit vulnerabilities, or otherwise disrupt normal gameplay;
- sell, transfer, or exchange accounts, virtual currency, items, or access rights except through a method expressly authorized by the Operator;
- harass others, impersonate another person, infringe rights, submit unlawful content, or interfere with the Service;
- reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law; or
- engage in fraudulent acquisition, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, false claims, or other deceptive conduct.
6. Free and paid games; in-game purchases
1. The Re:BirthStone series may include both free-to-play games and games sold for an upfront price.
2. The current Steam advance preview does not include real-money in-game purchases.
3. If in-game purchases are offered in a future Steam release, purchases initiated on Steam will use Steam Wallet or another method required by Steam and will remain subject to Steam's terms.
4. Content, membership benefits, promotional rewards, items, free virtual currency, or access rights obtained through Steam, the App Store, Google Play, the official website, note, or another service designated by the Operator may be applied to the shared account.
5. Entitlements applied to the shared account may be usable across supported platforms unless restricted by technical requirements, contracts, or applicable law.
6. The Steam version will not direct users from within the game to complete a purchase outside Steam.
7. Virtual currency, items, and entitlements
1. Virtual currency, items, and entitlements may be used only within the Service and, unless applicable law requires otherwise, are not redeemable for cash or legal tender and may not be transferred.
2. Balances of paid virtual currency are separated by the platform on which they were acquired and may not be combined with or transferred to a paid balance on another platform.
3. Free virtual currency, items, membership benefits, and some entitlements may be shared across supported games or platforms as designated by the Operator.
4. To preserve game balance and meet technical, contractual, legal, or anti-fraud requirements, the Operator may define or adjust which games and platforms support an entitlement, along with its limits and effects.
5. In the event of membership expiration, refund, chargeback, fraud, erroneous delivery, or another legitimate reason, the Operator may suspend, revoke, recover, restrict, or adjust related benefits, entitlements, or balances, or may require account review.
8. Charges, refunds, and transaction records
Prices, taxes, payment timing, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the disclosures and terms of the platform on which the purchase was initiated and by applicable law. Steam and other platform operators are not the seller or refund provider for a purchase or membership completed through a separate external service.
The Operator may retain records of purchases, grants, consumption, refunds, and fraud response as described in the Privacy Policy and permitted or required by applicable law.
9. Updates, changes, and maintenance
The Operator may update or change the Service, content, features, rewards, availability, or supported environments for quality improvements, bug fixes, security, game balance, legal or contractual compliance, or other operational reasons.
Maintenance, outages, or interruption of third-party services may temporarily make all or part of the Service unavailable. Material changes will be announced by a reasonable method.
10. Suspension and termination
If you violate this agreement, applicable law, or platform terms, or if fraud or a security risk is suspected, the Operator may issue a warning, restrict features, hold a transaction, suspend an account, or terminate access to the extent reasonably necessary.
If the Operator ends all or a material part of the Service, the Operator will normally provide notice by a reasonable method at least 30 days before the planned end date, except for emergencies, legal or platform requirements, or other unavoidable circumstances. If applicable law requires a longer period, refund, or other remedy, that requirement will control.
11. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is.” The Operator does not warrant uninterrupted availability, freedom from every defect, or perfect operation on every device or network.
Any exclusion or limitation of the Operator's liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer and other mandatory law. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including where applicable liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with Steam and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services. The Operator may change or discontinue an integration when a third-party service is interrupted, changed, or discontinued.
13. User content
If the Service allows you to submit text, images, or other content, you represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to use that content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, moderate, back up, secure, improve, and display the Service. Material promotional use outside those purposes will be subject to separate consent where required.
14. Privacy
The Operator's Re:BirthStone Privacy Policy governs personal data and other user information.

15. Changes to this agreement
The Operator may change this agreement in response to law, Service changes, or operational needs. The changes, effective date, and any required renewed consent will be announced in the game, on the official website, by email, or through another reasonable method as required by applicable law.

17. Governing law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of Japan. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute concerning the Service. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the Tokyo District Court will have agreed jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
This section does not limit rights granted by mandatory law applicable to the user.
