Why Early Access?

“Battle Bot Tactics is built around bot construction, item placement, automated combat, and risk-based progression systems. Early Access will allow us to work directly with players as we continue improving game balance, combat readability, onboarding, progression pacing, UI clarity, performance, and the overall Garage and Arena experience. The core gameplay loop is already playable, but player feedback will become especially valuable as we expand the item roster, tune different bot strategies, and continue developing online features. We want the final game to be shaped by real, meaningful player experiences rather than internal testing alone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Battle Bot Tactics to remain in Early Access until Q2 2027, while we expand content, tune progression, improve balance, and develop the online systems. We will leave Early Access when the game is stable, well-balanced, content-complete for its intended scope, and ready for a full release—not simply when a calendar date is reached. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our plan is to expand on the foundation with additional parts, bot strategies, upgrades, rewards, and progression content. We also plan to improve the Interface, combat presentation, performance, and accessibility. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of the game provides the full gameplay loop, including: online co-op, async multiplayer, ranked system, all leagues, weapons, upgrades and bot parts.
”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Battle Bot Tactics at a lower Early Access price while the game is still being expanded and refined. We may gradually adjust the price as new content and systems are added. Any price changes will be communicated in advance. Players who purchase during Early Access will continue to receive the full game and future updates. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to communicate with our player base as much as possible, to achieve the best gameplay we can. We plan to communicate via social media and channels such as our official Discord, and the steam forums”

About This Game

Build the ultimate combat bots using whatever weapons, parts and modules you can find. Battle it out against other players and put your designs to the test.

Your job is simple:

Engineer the most sophisticated instruments of destruction.

Maximize efficiency by carefully placing optimal parts and weapons combinations on your bots chassis grid.
The AI module of the bot determines its behavior, a professional like yourself would surely never use a sniper chip while the bot has no utility part and only has a few low range shotgun weapons equipped, right? Perhaps it would actually work, there is really only one way to find out.

Battle Bot Tactics is built around modular bots.

Combine different movement systems, chassis and weapons to create bots with different strengths and weaknesses.

Build heavily armored machines that can take a beating, long-range attackers that keep their distance, aggressive damage-focused bots, rapid-fire builds and more.

There is no single correct way to build a bot.

Every battle is a test of your build.

Win or lose, you're back in the garage, improving and optimizing your build.

Find combinations that work.

Discover combinations that absolutely don't.

Once your team is ready, press Play and watch the battle unfold automatically.

Positioning, stats, weapons and the bots you built determine what happens next.
