Why Early Access?

“We believe Early Access is the best way to shape Octavia’s Alienzzle with the help of the community. While the core gameplay and progression are already playable, we want player feedback to help us refine the puzzle mechanics, improve the user experience, balance progression, and expand the variety of collectible exhibits.

Our goal is to create a relaxing puzzle game that feels rewarding from beginning to end, and community feedback will play an important role in deciding which improvements and features should be prioritized during development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Octavia’s Alienzzle to remain in Early Access for approximately 1–2 months. The exact duration will depend on community feedback and the progress of planned content and polish. Our priority is to deliver a complete, polished experience rather than release on a fixed date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Octavia’s Alienzzle is planned to include significantly more content and polish than the Early Access release. During Early Access, we intend to expand the game with additional puzzle collections, more environmental variety, story content, quality-of-life improvements, achievements, and localization.

We also plan to continue refining the gameplay based on community feedback, improving the puzzle experience, interface, progression, and overall game balance. Our goal is for the full release to offer a larger, more varied, and more polished cozy 3D puzzle experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core gameplay experience:

1. 3D Puzzle Assembly - collect, rotate, examine, and connect pieces to restore complete 3D objects and dioramas.
2. 3D Model Painting - customize restored models by painting directly on their surfaces.
3. A Variety of Puzzles - assemble different types of objects and scenes, each with its own shape, structure, and set of pieces.
4. Alien Dialogues - interact with alien characters and discover their humorous perspective on humans, Earth, and the objects you restore.

The game is fully playable, but the amount of available content is currently limited.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer Octavia’s Alienzzle at a lower price during Early Access as a thank you to players who choose to support the game's development early.

As more content, features, and polish are added throughout Early Access, we expect the price to increase when the game reaches its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout Early Access. We'll actively listen to player suggestions, bug reports, and discussions on the Steam Community Hub and other community channels to help guide development.

We'll use this feedback to improve puzzle mechanics, quality-of-life features, game balance, and prioritize future content. Our goal is to make Octavia’s Alienzzle the best cozy 3D puzzle experience it can be together with the community.”
