Why Early Access?

“Eggscape grew up on Meta Quest, where it has been in Early Access since December 2024 and earned a 4.6-star rating from its community. The PC version is a new build of the game, and we want to shape it together with the Steam community — tuning combat, performance, and content for desktop play as we go.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 6-12 months. We'll move to full release once we've delivered additional content, polished the PC experience, and incorporated community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More maps, more cosmetics, additional game modes, refined matchmaking, and quality-of-life improvements driven by community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“3 fully playable game modes (Battle, Team Battle, Greedy Piggy), 15 weapons, 119+ cosmetics, online multiplayer for up to 6 players, Leaderboards, and Steam Achievements. The core game is complete — we're polishing and expanding.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when the game leaves Early Access, to reflect the content added during development. Early Access players keep everything they've unlocked, forever.”

Born on Meta Quest — where it hatched to a 4.6-star rating — now rebuilt as a full PC game for Steam. No headset. No setup. Just eggs, chaos, and your friends screaming.
