The Yard : Escape From Prison is an online co-op prison escape game designed for up to 6 players. In this high-stakes survival environment, freedom isn't given—it’s planned, crafted, and earned.

You and your inmates are locked away, but the walls are only the beginning of your challenge. To pull off the perfect breakout, you must master the delicate balance of prison life while executing the ultimate heist for your freedom.

• Stick to the Routine: Blend in by following the daily prisoner routine. Attend roll calls, do your chores, and keep your head down. One wrong move or missed appointment, and the guards will grow suspicious.

• Investigate & Craft: Scavenge the prison grounds for materials, craft essential tools in secret, and investigate the facility to map out potential escape routes.

• Cooperate or Compete: The choice is yours. Work seamlessly with your friends to execute a massive, coordinated group breakout, or betray them and compete to see who can taste freedom first.

• Adapt and Upgrade: Increase your character's statistics through daily activities. Higher stats unlock unique, specialized escape routes that wouldn't be possible otherwise.

• Stay Under the Radar: The guards are always watching. Sneak around restricted areas, hide your contraband, and make sure you never get caught.

Freedom is sweeter when shared—but survival is personal. In every match, you face a critical choice: work as a unified team or look out only for yourself.

You can pool your resources, share valuable information about guard patrols, and coordinate a massive group breakout where everyone makes it out alive. Alternatively, you can use your friends as a distraction, keep the best escape routes to yourself, and turn the match into a cutthroat race to see who can taste freedom first.

Survival behind bars requires more than just raw materials—it takes the right skills to turn junk into tools of escape. Our deep crafting system is directly tied to your character's progression.

To unlock advanced blueprints and utilize specific items, you must actively train your character's attributes. Boost your Intelligence to decipher complex security systems and craft high-tech tools, or build up your Strength to forge heavy-duty equipment and handle makeshift weapons.

Every item you craft can change the course of the game. Create essential gear to carve out your route to freedom, or engineer traps and weapons to neutralize guards, subdue rival inmates, or sabotage your own friends' escape plans just to get ahead.

To avoid throwing up red flags, you must blend in and live the life of a model prisoner—at least on the surface. A core part of your survival means keeping up with the daily prison grind and clocking in for your assigned shifts.

The facility offers a variety of prison jobs, each located in distinct sectors:

• License Plate Pressing: Put your back into hard labor.

• Dishwashing & Laundry: Keep the facility running smoothly.

• Tailoring: Sew uniforms right under the guards' noses.

Working these jobs isn't just about passing the time; it’s a critical part of your strategy. These workplaces are prime locations to scavenge and smuggle out restricted items essential for your breakout.

Furthermore, the hard-earned money you make from your shifts can be put to good use. Spend your cash to buy valuable insider information from shady sources, or use it during your precious free time in the cafeteria to customize your character and elevate your gameplay experience.

The guards are always on high alert, and one wrong move can ruin days of careful planning. In this prison, boundaries are strictly enforced.

You must constantly monitor your surroundings and watch which doors you attempt to open. Stepping into a restricted zone or getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time will trigger an immediate lockdown.

If you get caught by the guards, the consequences are severe: you will be thrown into solitary confinement, and every piece of contraband and valuable resource you’ve painstakingly gathered and crafted so far will be confiscated. To fully immerse you in the tension of the prison environment, the online experience features In-Game Voice Chat. Strategize in real-time, whisper plans in the corridors, or shout warnings when a guard approaches—providing the ultimate, authentic atmosphere of a real prison break.
