About This Game

A little horse race that lives on your desktop

Chat Derby Desktop is a small typing race that sits on top of your other windows in a transparent, always-on-top window. Join a room and the races keep running, round after round, until you leave. Whenever you feel like racing, type a line like a chat message and your horse racer speeds up. Then go back to what you were doing.

Keeps running while you work

• A compact, transparent window you can park in any corner of the screen, with an always-on-top option.
• Once you join a room, rounds start on their own: countdown, race, podium, next race.
• AI runners fill empty spots, so there is always a race going, even when you play alone.
• Jump in whenever you like. Type a few lines between tasks, then let the race run.

Race your way

• Type Korean or English text with keyboard controls.
• Join a random room, browse rooms, create your own, or join a friend using a room code.
• Race against other players or AI runners.
• Choose 1-minute, 5-minute, 10-minute, or endless sessions.
• Use skill prompts, earn gameplay points, and collect cosmetic skins to customize your racer.

Collect and customize

Earn points through play and unlock a collection of cosmetic horse skins. Pick your favorite racer before entering the next room.

A keyboard is required. An internet connection and Steam sign-in are required for online multiplayer and server-backed points and skins.
