Gulugulu contains both pre-generated and live-generated AI content. Live generation uses the Anthropic Claude Code or OpenAI Codex CLI installed and signed in on the player's computer. These CLIs connect to their respective online model services and may use the player's account allowance; the game does not ship or collect provider API keys. AI Fusion generates creature names, descriptions, palettes, and restricted parametric vector parts, and the app may also generate short pet dialogue after launch. Outputs must pass schema, allowlist, size, and geometry validation. When Steam is connected, generated creature skins may be published to Steam Workshop.
