About This Game

Bring the world back to life after the greatest extinction

Earth's greatest mass extinction devastated ecosystems on land and in the oceans. The surviving lineages of animals and plants began to repopulate an emptied world.

In Epoch Vault, you will reconstruct the history of the Mesozoic, from the earliest survivors in the aftermath to the age of giant dinosaurs.

Discover, develop, restore

Gather Data, uncover new creatures and key events, upgrade the records you have restored, and progress through the three phases of each period.

Every restored record increases your income and brings you closer to the next discovery. Passive income continues to accumulate while the game is closed. When you return, invest the Data you have gathered, expand the tree, and continue your research.

Restore the Tomes of the Mesozoic

Within each Tome, individual discoveries come together to tell the story of an entire period. The branches of the tree explore the creatures, ecosystems, and changes that reshaped the Earth:

  • survivors of the mass extinction and the recovery of ecosystems;
  • ancient animals, plants, and marine communities;
  • the rise of dinosaurs and pterosaurs;
  • marine reptiles and other inhabitants of ancient oceans;
  • climatic and geological change;
  • extinctions and gradual transitions between geological periods.

Every record unlocks its own illustration and an in-depth article in the Codex. Drawing on current scientific research, the entries explore anatomy, fossil finds, how these organisms lived, and the questions paleontologists are still working to answer.

Publish a Tome and begin a new cycle

When progress slows, publish your restored Tome. You will earn Seals and permanent boosts, allowing the next cycle to progress more quickly.

Choose the right moment to publish, strengthen the archive, and reach the farthest branches of the tree.
