About This Game

Warlockle is a top-down wizard PvP game with a voxel art style. Each match, you draft a spellbook from a shop and fight other players in a shrinking arena. Rounds are quick, and you rebuild your loadout between every fight.

A match alternates between two rounds. In the shopping round you spend gold on spells from a shop of six offers. Buying a spell you already own levels it up. You can lock an offer to save it for later or reroll the whole shop. You take six spells into each fight.

Spells range from common to divine rarity. They include bolts and blasts, beams, summons, self-buffs, and area effects that reshape the ground. Statuses interact with each other, so a wet enemy takes extra lightning damage, and magma poured onto water turns into stone. Part of each fight is setting up these reactions and reading the ones aimed at you.

You have four gear slots: catalyst, robe, boots, and hat. Each item rolls stats based on its rarity. Rare and better items also carry augments, which change how something works instead of just adding a number. Examples include stealing a spell from a player you defeat, or lowering all of your cooldowns. Your gear and augments shape how your build plays as much as your spells do.
