Why Early Access?

“Ashrun Survivors already has a complete playable core, but its progression systems, difficulty curve, balance, performance, and overall presentation will benefit greatly from feedback from a wider range of players. Early Access allows us to improve the game based on real playstyles, hardware configurations, and community feedback while continuing to polish and expand the experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Ashrun Survivors to remain in Early Access for approximately six months. This estimate may change depending on player feedback, development progress, testing results, and the level of polish required for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to provide a more polished, balanced, and refined experience. Development during Early Access will focus on improving progression, character and weapon balance, enemy variety, difficulty options, performance, user interface clarity, accessibility, and overall game feel. Additional content and quality-of-life improvements may also be introduced based on community feedback. These plans may evolve during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the main gameplay loop and is fully playable. Players can fight large enemy hordes, choose from multiple characters, create different builds, upgrade and evolve weapons, collect relics, unlock permanent progression, face elite enemies and bosses, and customize the difficulty of their runs. The game also includes achievements, statistics, run history, settings, and several long-term progression systems. Some areas still require additional balancing, optimization, testing, and presentation polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to offer Ashrun Survivors at a lower price during Early Access. The price may increase when the game leaves Early Access to reflect the additional content, improvements, and overall level of polish added during development. Any pricing changes will be communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout Early Access. Players will be able to share bug reports, balance feedback, feature suggestions, accessibility concerns, and general impressions through the Steam Community forums. Feedback will be reviewed regularly and used to help prioritize balancing, usability improvements, performance fixes, and future development. While not every suggestion can be implemented, all constructive feedback will be considered.”
