Why Early Access?

“The game is fully playable. I now want feedback from the community to improve it as much as possible: balancing, bug fixing, and adding new features. I already have several features in mind that I can't wait to share with players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Around 6 months, with a possible extension depending on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will add at least 4 new creatures, new traps and new items, for example a defibrillator to revive your teammates. I'm also thinking about adding a new environment as well as random events during a run. I will prioritise these additions based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable with 1 to 4 players and offers 6 sectors to explore, 2 different dungeon types, 13 creatures and around twenty items to unlock: weapons, consumables and gadgets. A bestiary lets you browse the creatures you've encountered.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I don't plan to increase the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to open a Discord server to gather feedback from players and talk with them directly. I will also be reachable by email.”

About This Game

Pit Purge is a co-op horror-comedy game for up to 4 players, with proximity voice chat. You're paid to hunt or capture creatures as you descend through the sectors of a bottomless pit, aboard a giant elevator.

Hunt the creatures of the pit !

Down there, you're not always the hunter. And you start with the bare minimum : flashlights and sacks to haul your catches back.

The deeper you go, the more dangerous the sectors get, but the more they pay. Bats, flashbangs, blowguns, riot shields... unlock enough gear to stand a chance of coming back alive from your expeditions !

Not all of them are dangerous...

Not everything down here wants you dead. Some creatures are clumsy, skittish, and bolt the second they spot you.

Still sells...

Sell the creatures !

Haul your catches back, hook them to the ropes and pull the lever. What goes up is your proof of purge, and your pay. Every species has its rate, and it climbs with depth.

Three expeditions to hit the quota. Fail, and the elevator drops you at the bottom of the pit...
