There's a peace in cleaning a coin. You sit at an old man's workbench, take a grubby penny in hand, and sweep the grime away until it shines. Then you do the next one. Then the bench starts to get busy.

Coin Cleaner is a short, cozy incremental about the quiet satisfaction of making dirty things clean, and about finishing one old craftsman's life's work.

Just move your hand

No clicking, no button to hold. Sweep the cursor across a coin and the dirt lifts: visible, tactile, a little addictive. Park the cursor and nothing happens; the work is in the motion. It plays just as well on a laptop trackpad as a mouse.

A bench that comes alive

Every coin you clean sets off the next. Foam blooms and scrubs its neighbours. Magnets drag loose coins into heaps. Sparks arc from coin to coin. A little sweeper whirrs across the tray. Duplicators breed fresh coins faster than you can bank them. None of it runs on its own - it's all the chain reaction of your cleaning. Invest well and a single sweep detonates a longer and longer cascade until the whole bench is heaving.

Spend your takings on a fully visible upgrade tree - sharper hands, longer rounds, a bigger tray, wilder chain reactions. No random draws, no loot boxes, no card picks. What you can buy next is always right there in front of you. Climb the coin ladder from a worthless penny up through silver, gold, and glowing exotic metals, each one worth more and harder to clean than the last.

A story worth finishing

The old man who runs the bench has chased one thing his whole life: a single coin so caked in the grime of every hand it ever passed through that no cleaner alive ever reached the bottom of it. He never found the hands for it. He thinks, maybe, you have.

Coin Cleaner is meant to be played for a few hours and finished. No prestige, no endless grind bolted on past the credits, just a warm little arc with a real ending, and a coin worth waiting for.
