About This Game

Wild Hive is a roguelike bee colony sim driven by a ruthless honey market.

Hatch workers, brew honey, and sell it for a good price — because your honey quota climbs every year, and the year you miss it, your run is over.

Build Your Hive

Lay brood cells for your queen, raise honey silos, and shape the hex grid your colony lives in. Every silo type pushes the hive's temperature, humidity, and CO₂ — your floor plan is your climate control. Build it right and brew four varieties of honey; build it wrong and you'll cook your own bees alive!

Forage or Starve

Send workers on nectar runs, from the safety of Bluebell Woods to the rich, risky Alpine Meadows — every trip a bet on yield against the odds of coming home. Fields deplete as you strip them and refill with the seasons, so rotate your crews or fly home empty. Upgrade a favorite field for bigger stockpiles, faster flights, or a shot at Super Nectar.

Play the Market

Honey has one price, and it never sits still. Ride the booms, dodge the crashes, and sell at the peak to clear the year's quota before winter runs out. Work the RAX exchange on the side — buy shares in five rival hives, pocket the dividends, and lease out idle bees for a steady cut.

Survive the Seasons

Your hive breathes: temperature, humidity, and CO₂ drift with the weather and your own architecture. Let one cross the red line and bees die, honey spoils, silos crumble. When winter freezes your nectar solid, thaw it fast — or lose it.

Defend the Queen

Wasps raid the hive. Workers drop everything and charge; you hire mercenary bees to hold the line. When the last defender falls, the wasps go for the Queen — and if she dies, so does the colony.

  • Hatch, feed, and put to work a swarm of autonomous bees — every one of them mortal.

  • Grow honey silos through 9 levels and 4 types to brew 4 varieties of honey.

  • Pin up to 3 Royal Seals a year — permanent modifiers that bend the rules of your run. No two runs will ever feel the same.

  • Trade shares in 5 rival hives and lease out your workforce on the RAX exchange.

  • Settle 5 biomes, from fishing the Mountain Lake to catching apples in the Juicy Orchards.

  • Outplay a rival queen at Honeycomb Clash, or ferment your surplus into mead at the Meadery.

  • Reach level 30, then climb 7 tiers of Wax difficulty that rewrite the rules against you.

  • Or ignore the quota entirely in Endless mode and grow the biggest hive you can.

Your first colony will collapse. Your empire starts with the next one.
