Why Early Access?

“Currently we have 5 full story arcs and dozens of quests, with a plan to keep adding stories for the other town inhabitants. We feel like the Early Access model will allow us to listen to our audience and prioritise which characters players are most interested in.

Eventually we plan to have story arcs for all characters, but we will be guided by our players to ensure that we are offering the most engaging story possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the Early Access period will last 12-18 months, starting September 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The unique part of Cozy Commons is that EVERY character you meet –– from the barista to the mailman –– will have a full story arc. That includes storyline, quests, special items, and unique reactions towards conversations, locations and gifts. We have 5 story arcs that are 100% complete. The full release will include the remaining storyline’s, approximately 15-20 characters in total (based on feedback and popularity).

In addition there will be more activities including:
- New Throwing activities
- New Stacking activities
- Potato Pirates (in-world card game)
- New photo challenges
- Additional clothes, decor, food and locations”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We currently have 5 character story arcs that are 100% complete. These should provide at least 20 hours of gameplay to finish, including:

- Story arc for Madison, Griffin, Jamie, Shadow and Harper
- 90+ Meet Ups (story segments)
- Several hundred text messages
- 25 locations to discover
- 33 Quests
- 8 Stacking Games
- 17 Collection Quests
- 19 Photo Quests
- 6 Throwing Games
- 9 Decoration Quests”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will gradually increase the price as new story arcs are completed and added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are encouraging all players to contact us on any platform and provide feedback and suggestions. We are releasing in Early Access because we want the direction of the story to be guided by the community so that we focus on areas most important to the players. ”
