About This Game

Tapis is a score-chasing roguelike that blends three pleasures: the luck of a draw, the strategy of chess-like placement, and building a poker hand that carries over from run to run. A tabletop game with a single goal, a higher score every time.

TAME THE TABLE

Every turn, the table fills with tokens, each with an effect that depends on its position and its family. Trigger your mover tokens to swap, push and reposition the pieces, and turn a simple draw into a cascade of points.

EQUIP YOUR HAND

Five playing cards make up your gear. Each grants an action to rearrange the table and a passive bonus you keep from one run to the next. Line up a flush, a pair, a straight, and your poker combinations empower entire families of tokens. It is up to you to build the perfect hand.

MANY PACKS, COUNTLESS STRATEGIES

Hundreds of tokens spread across themed packs: forest, river, sea, sky, mountain and more. Each pack brings its own wildlife, flora and mechanics, from growing trees to rising tides. Play with multiple packs simultaneously to invent your own style.

BUILT TO REPLAY

Clear six worlds in pursuit of the best score, then replay them in prestige for greater challenge and rewards. Take on the infinite mode and climb the leaderboard, or face other players in a PvP mode.
