THE LIGHT IS THE CLOCK

You are a small fire in a vast and patient dark. Every step you take, the flame grows shorter. Every moment you linger, the night leans closer. There is no clock on the wall here. There is only your lantern, and how long it has left to burn.

OUTRUN THE NIGHT

Cinderfall is a precision horror platformer with a single, merciless rule: to slow down is to die. Your light is the timer, and the timer is always falling. Move, and you live. Hesitate, and the dark folds over you like water over a stone.

EMBER DASH

Spend a breath of fire to surge forward, and watch the shadows recoil. String your dashes and leaps together to cross black gaps, slip past cruelty, and carve seconds from the run that came before.

WHAT WAITS IN THE DARK

- 25 hand‑built levels, each one falling deeper, each one hungrier than the last

- A signature Ember Dash and clean, exacting movement made for the speedrun

- Old ways to die: waiting spikes, falling weight, fire from below, ground that will not hold

- Global Steam leaderboards on every stage, and the ghost of your best run to chase

- 14 achievements to earn, and a few quiet, grim ends to find

- A built‑in level editor, so you can shape your own dark and hand it to a friend

- Full controller and Steam Deck support

- A procedural art style of nothing but shadow and ember light

HOW FAR CAN YOU FALL?

Carry your small fire as far as it will go. Beat the ghost of who you were a moment ago. Climb, and burn, and do not look behind you, because the dark is already there.
