About This Game

Manala is a LARP world where you build your combat deck and fight other players.

Pick up your foam sword, put on your wizard hat and let's go kill the bad guys.

Depending on your point of view, that's either the person in the orc mask or the dwarf with a glued-on beard.

Every player you meet is modeled on a real LARPer's costume.

The gear you carry decides which abilities you can play in combat.

Kill someone and you can take all their loot.

It may be a fake sword made from PVC, pipe foam and tape, but it's still got to be worth something.

If you're losing badly, you can always cheat. Just ignore the rules for a bit and be prepared to live with the shame.

You won't live long. When you die, you go to Manala, the underworld, wait a while, and come back.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

We believe in human art. I say we because there's finally an artist on the team. Proof of concept visuals were done with genAI. If you see a boffer sword, that's real art. If it's an epic flamiing sword, that's genAI. Working hard to get rid of the genAI part.
