Why Early Access?

The game focuses on cooperation, tension, escape, and survival in a hellish environment while a dangerous entity hunts the players. Early Access will allow us to better test the pacing, difficulty, controls, level design, and overall feel of the game with real players.

Community feedback will be important to help us decide what should be adjusted, improved, or expanded during development.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Souls Runner to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.

This may change depending on player feedback, the amount of content we decide to improve, and the time needed to properly polish the game.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the main playable experience, basic movement mechanics, enemies, chase mechanics, and the hellish setting of the game.

For the full version, we plan to improve and expand the game with more polished levels, different worlds, better balance, visual improvements, more sound effects, bug fixes, improved menus, and general quality-of-life improvements.

We also plan to refine the chase mechanics, improve the learning curve, and make the final experience more complete and stable based on community feedback.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is playable and includes the main concept of Souls Runner: escaping through a dangerous hellish environment while avoiding an unstoppable entity.

The game currently includes functional movement, a playable level, chase and enemy mechanics, visual effects, sound, and basic gameplay systems. However, it is still in development and may contain bugs, balance issues, unfinished details, and content that could change over time.
