About This Game

Youth, mystery, and heart-pounding tension—have you ever felt a story like this unfolding in your own life?

If not, it is about to unfold right before your eyes.

Move the story forward through conversation. At key moments, face other characters in “Heart's Mirror Debates”: choose dialogue options to draw out information or change their minds. During a debate, read the situation and the other person's personality to pick the right way to communicate. A poor choice raises their negative emotions; if those emotions reach their limit, the negotiation breaks down. Through story and gameplay alike, the journey of Refrain of Yesterday begins.

Record your own interjections and the voice of your final confession to customize parts of the audio. The protagonist speaks with your voice, helping you step into the role or experience a different kind of immersion.

Watch how others act and speak, respond appropriately, and win debates to advance the story.
