About This Game

BORE to the CORE is a co-op moving base defense & automation game for up to 4 players, in which you constantly balance between surviving dangers, fixing problems and building up your base with physics based automation.

Pilot the BORE

The Mole Rat Queen has ordered you to bore to the core of the world, mostly because nobody else volunteered. Pilot your tunnel bore, keep it running, and try not to think too hard about what's waiting below.

Process those rocks, minerals and natural treasures

Your bore is drilling through a world of treasures. A perfect opportunity to put those rocks and minerals to good use! Automate your bore fuel and item production and turn it into a true factory. Smelt those ores into precious metals and for scavenge rare gems & materials in the tunnel.  

8 Biomes, Many more ways to fail

The earth is not friendly. Drill through the gaseous Vapor Veins, the crowded Noisy Nests, the barren Bedrock Belt, the burning Hell's Haze, and more. Each biome trying to end your expedition in a new way, be it with monsters, gasses or hazards.

Upgrade, create weapons and defend yourself 

The queen did not have enough budget to equip you with good tools or weapons. You'll have to make them yourself. Physics based automation lets you tier up to make the tools and weapons that you need to survive.

Play and survive Together

One does not simply bore to the core. Fight and build together, plan and fix your base, control the bore, scavenge the tunnel and save a mole rat in need. You are in this together!

Did you know?

Real naked mole rats actually have a crazy advanced society. One Queen, everyone else stuck with a job for life (digger, soldier, caretaker, builder, farmer). Oh and did you know that naked mole rats can live for 30 YEARS? Some naked mole rats from the 20th century are still alive today.
