About This Game

PREMISE

The Mongols have taken Baghdad. You are Yusuf, a master alchemist, and your daughter is dying. The House of Wisdom, Baghdad's great library, is burning. Somewhere inside is Iksyr, the only cure.

SURVIVAL HORROR IN 1258 BAGHDAD

Face the horror of the Mongol invasion of Baghdad. Wherever you go in the House, the horde is closing in, a threat that only keeps escalating. And underneath your feet, something otherworldly waits.

COMBAT, ALCHEMY & CRAFTING

Fight with the weapons found inside the House: strange arms, alchemically powered by a cosmic material. Scavenge materials to craft items and flasks that burn, blind, and dissolve.

INTERCONNECTED LEVEL DESIGN

The House of Wisdom is one interconnected space: locked routes, hidden shortcuts, mechanisms built by the finest minds of an age. Solving the space is how you descend.

STALKER ENEMIES

Face stalker enemies you cannot kill, only evade. Some are faster than you; escape means using the environment against them.
