About This Game

PUNKRACER is a free, low-poly anti-grav pod racer with online matchmaking, a Garage full of unlockable rovers and paint, and a snarling pack of AI drones whenever you race solo. Built for the browser, shipped to iOS — now on Steam.

Hover, drift, boost.

Throttle, bank into turns, drain your boost meter on the straights. Hold drift through a hard corner, release for a DRIFT BOOST mini-turbo. Hold boost into the final second of the 3·2·1·GO! countdown for a rocket start. Slipstream rivals for overtake bonuses, skim walls for near-miss rewards, ride boost-pad chevrons for top-speed scrolling.

Six tracks, six worlds.

Neon Canyon — sunset cliffs and glowing crystals. Frostline — slick ice gauntlet. Magma Run — lava ravines. Skyloop — 4-lap cloudway above the clouds. Voidline — tight deep-space corridor. Neon City — cyberpunk downtown sprint. Each loop has its own palette, difficulty rating, and per-track boost-pad rhythm.

Multiplayer + AI.

Every grid is 8 racers. Real-time multiplayer over WebSockets fills empty slots with personality-driven AI drones, so you always race a full pack of 7 opponents. Cross-platform: Steam players race alongside the web and iOS playerbase, sharing the same matchmaker and leaderboards.

Garage + career.

Earn GCRED for every race. Spend it on rover chassis and pod paint, sorted common to legendary. A live 3D turntable previews everything you hover. Win streaks, podium counts, fastest laps and per-track leaderboards are tracked across your career.

Three cameras, full controls.

Chase, Far, and Cockpit cameras cycle live mid-race. Full keyboard, gamepad, and on-screen touch support. Rebindable controls. A chase cam that widens its FOV as you accelerate.
