What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Send Them Fly is all about one thing: turning hordes into ragdolls and watching them launch. That kind of physics-driven, build-stacking chaos lives or dies on feel, balance, and the sheer variety of ways players find to break it — and the best way to get that right is out in the open, with players. As a solo developer, Early Access lets me grow the arsenal and upgrade pool, tune the build synergies, and add enemies and bosses based on what the community actually enjoys, instead of guessing in isolation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're planning for roughly 12 months in Early Access, give or take, depending on how development and community feedback go. We want to leave Early Access when the full weapon and build variety, the complete enemy and boss roster, and the meta-progression are all in and feel polished — guided by readiness, not a fixed calendar date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to substantially expand on the Early Access build: more weapons, upgrade cards, and build archetypes that multiply together; a wider, stranger enemy roster and several more bosses, including larger set-piece fights; additional playable characters and maps; and deeper meta-progression — while continuously refining feel, balance, and performance. These are our intentions rather than firm promises: exactly what ships, and when, will be shaped by what works and what players respond to.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a complete, playable core, not a tech demo. You drop into a procedurally generated city, fight escalating hordes on foot, and send them flying with a physics-driven arsenal. It includes the core combat and ragdoll-launch systems, an upgrade-card draft that lets builds snowball, two run modes (a timed run and a boss run), coin-based meta-progression that carries between runs, a KillCam for capturing and sharing your best moments, and a starting roster of weapons, enemies, and bosses. There's a satisfying loop to sink real time into — Early Access is about widening and deepening it.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to raise the price as Early Access progresses and we add content and polish. Early Access players buy in at the lowest the game will be, as a thank-you for backing it early; we don't plan to drop the base price afterward.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is central to how Send Them Fly grows. We plan to gather feedback through the Steam forums and a community Discord — on balance, build synergies, difficulty, and overall feel — and to take requests for new weapons, upgrades, enemies, and bosses straight into our roadmap. Since the game is built for chaotic, shareable moments, we especially want players posting their wildest KillCam clips, which help steer what we lean into next. Regular patch notes and a public roadmap will keep everyone in the loop on what we're building and why.”

About This Game

TURN THE HORDE INTO AMMUNITION

Send Them Fly is a physics-driven zombie survival roguelite. Move through swarms, build each run from upgrade cards, and use knockback, explosions and the environment to launch the undead across the battlefield.

EVERY HIT HAS WEIGHT

Enemies do not simply vanish. They tumble, collide, pile up and fly. A clean shot can become a chain reaction; a bad angle can leave you surrounded.

BUILD A BEAUTIFUL DISASTER

Combine fire rate, explosive rounds, chain lightning, gravity effects and other upgrades. Every choice changes how the next wave breaks—and how far it travels.

FIGHT THE ROAD AHEAD

Survive escalating encounters, learn distinct enemy behaviors and challenge oversized bosses in a colorful low-poly apocalypse built for readable chaos and dark comedy.
