Horizon Reef is a short narrative adventure game about memory, identity, and a love story that refused to end.

You are Finley. Your grandfather is old, confused, and keeps whispering about a place called Horizon Reef — somewhere he never managed to reach. He asks you to go for him. So you take his old boat and set sail.

Across different islands, you'll fish, scavenge the sand, upgrade your boat, and slowly piece together the story...

The further you travel, the more you realise: the person you thought you knew never existed.

The things the player sees are mostly made manually by humans. But some visuals, like a couple of seamless textures that are used in the environment, were AI-generated and then modified by hand. AI was used to boost productivity generally, so it was used in a lot of workflows here and there to be finish tasks faster.
