What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to involve the community early in the development of Waiting for Heaven because the game is built around atmosphere, pacing, player behavior, and subtle moral choices. Feedback from real players is very important to help us understand how the waiting experience feels, which interactions are meaningful, and how the different endings are perceived.
Early Access allows us to improve the game step by step while keeping the core idea intact: a quiet, psychological first-person experience where every decision counts.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Waiting for Heaven to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months.
This may change depending on player feedback, the amount of content we add, and how much time is needed to polish the atmosphere, endings, events, achievements, and overall experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more random events, more interactive objects, additional moral choices, improved endings, more secrets, achievements, and stronger atmospheric polish.
We also plan to improve sound design, visual effects, environmental details, and the overall pacing of the waiting experience.
The core concept will remain the same: you wait at a mysterious bus stop between life and death, and every decision influences your final judgement.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the main gameplay concept: waiting at the bus stop, interacting with objects, making moral choices, triggering strange events, and reaching different possible outcomes.
Core systems such as the morality system, bus judgement, environmental interactions, random events, and achievements are already being implemented.
However, the game is still in development. Some content may be expanded, adjusted, or polished based on feedback from players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase after Early Access as more content, polish, features, endings, and events are added to the game.
We want the Early Access price to reflect the current state of the game, while the final price may better represent the completed version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through Steam discussions, feedback, bug reports, and suggestions.
Player feedback will help us improve the pacing, atmosphere, moral choices, random events, endings, and overall feeling of the game.
Because Waiting for Heaven is a slow and psychological experience, community reactions are especially valuable. We want to know what feels meaningful, what feels unsettling, and which moments stay in the player’s mind after playing.”

About This Game

A quiet psychological experience about waiting for the last bus.

At a lonely bus stop between life and death, you wait.

No missions. No combat. No clear answers.
Just time, strange encounters, and the feeling of being watched.

In Waiting for Heaven, every decision matters.
How you treat others, how patient you are, and the small choices you make will influence your final judgement.

Sit on the bench.
Wander around.
Pet the cat.
Knock on doors.
Throw away bottles.
Or simply do nothing at all.

The longer the night lasts, the stranger the world becomes around you.

Some events feel peaceful. Others are disturbing.
A second passenger. A monster on the roof. Strange noises. Water that suddenly begins to rise.

Eventually, the bus arrives.

And it already knows where you belong.
