What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access will allow us to improve the game based on community feedback, identify areas that need improvement, and add new features based on what players want. Our goal is to use the Early Access period to polish and refine the game as much as possible, while working closely with the community, before releasing the full version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Most likely around two years. This should give us enough time to improve the game based on community feedback, add new content, and polish the overall experience. The Early Access period might be extended if needed, but we’ll do our best to get the game ready for full release as soon as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand on the systems and content available in Early Access. We plan to expand the quest system, further develop the existing map, and create additional maps. We will also continue improving and expanding the extraction, combat, and looting systems throughout Early Access based on player feedback. Our goal is to provide a more complete and polished experience by the time of the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently in a very early stage of development. The current version includes the core extraction gameplay, combat, looting, quests, and a playable map. These systems are already implemented and the game is stable enough to be played by other players. However, a significant amount of planned content is not yet available. The quest system and existing map are planned to be expanded during Early Access, and additional maps are planned for future updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not currently planning to increase the price after the game leaves Early Access. However, this could change in the future if development costs increase significantly or other circumstances require us to adjust the pricing. Our goal is to keep the game affordable and provide good value for players throughout Early Access and after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to involve the community as much as possible throughout the development process. Player feedback will play an important role in shaping the game, and we plan to listen closely to suggestions, bug reports, and ideas from the community. We also want to communicate regularly with players, share development updates, and use their feedback to decide which areas should be improved or expanded.”

About This Game

Embargo is a first person shooter, deeply focused on exploration, combat and weapon modding

Embargo takes you into a harsh environment where you fight other players over valuable loot. Work together with your team or turn against each other when the stakes get high. Search for resources, loot abandoned locations, modify your weapons, and find a way to escape before it's too late.

You won't only have to worry about other players. Hostile NPCs patrol the entire map, guarding valuable areas and making every expedition more dangerous. Every encounter can turn into a fight, and every decision can have consequences.

Plan your journey before you enter, decide what you take with you, and choose how you want to approach each situation.
