The Joust is a highspeed, physics-rich simulation game with a specialty for freeform control.  Swing swords, sweep axes, and sling fireballs as you follow your path to become Champion of The Joust!  Competitive Online Multiplayer is available on numerous continents!

But ye, that is not all!

The Joust delivers a variety of singleplayer experiences including:

    1. an infinite Adventure Mode with gathering and crafting!

    2. a neverending, Roguelike gauntlet Heromaster mode,

    3. two Campaign Modes available on launch: Medieval and Space Age

    4. Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Boxing, and Pole Vault simulations

    5. a cinematic studio mode capable of exporting 60 FPS video in 4K resolution

  and MANY MORE!

The Joust can be customized in every which way!  Control gravity, movement speed, armor strength, projectile sizes... and just about everything else you can think of, for real!

Create a Class feature is also available for use in many game modes, including Online Multiplayer.

Endless possibilities for invention! 

The Joust will also ship equipped with lucrative tooling for generating ingame weapons, stages, and additional modded content.  In fact... nearly everything can be modded!

Made for community:

From day one, The Joust has been driven by community feedback.  For a while, this community meant a few people that listened to a pipedream idea of a game where cartoony simple geometry characters fight one another with swords... but it has grown into a wonderful array of hundreds of playtesters and a whole production team.

We have a Discord Community Server and a subreddit where players can go to help drive the development direction of the game!

The Joust and its promotional material are the product of countless hours of human love and labor by a small, but passionate team of technology experts.  Yes, even our lead composer is a software professional by day.

With that in mind, in today's world it is important to tell the rest of the story!

The Joust appreciates transparency and forthcomingly discloses the use of modern LLM-driven tools to assist with code generation, code review, and performance optimization.  Aside from our handmade logos, The Joust does not ship traditional graphical assets and relies on mathematical generation of simple geometry to achieve its graphics.

The Joust is committed to NOT using any sort of AI-powered tools in our generation of marketing material.

All music for The Joust is composed, arranged, and performed by humans.

The Joust does NOT currently ship with localization features, but pledges to source its localization from real humans to the greatest extent practically verifiable by our team.

Most importantly, The Joust pledges to continue forward with its pro-human approach to art and design!
