About This Game

Wands & Whiskers

Wands & Whiskers is a single-player idle cat collector about rescuing cats, playing with them, building cozy shelters, and helping them find new homes.

Start with one small shelter and work your way through eight different locations. Open Rescue Crates, earn donations, decorate and expand your shelters, and collect all 240 unique cats.

Keep your favorites around, hunt for rare and Shiny cats, or rehome settled cats to earn more donations and keep the rescue growing.

Play with your cats

Grab the wand and move it around the shelter. Cats will chase after it, running across the floor, jumping between shelves, climbing towers, crossing rope bridges, and moving through tunnels along the way.

Playing earns cats XP and helps them settle in faster. Once a cat is settled, they start earning donations and can be rehomed for a larger payout.

Rescue and collect

Every Rescue Crate brings three cats into your shelter.

There are 30 cats to discover in each location, spread across five rarity tiers. Every cat also has a chance to appear as an even rarer Shiny variant.

Name the ones you like, keep them around as long as you want, or find them a new home once they’re settled.

Make the shelters yours

Spend donations on shelves, towers, tunnels, bridges, beds, decorations, wand upgrades, and shelter expansions. Build a crazy obstacle course to lead the cats through, or just decorate the shelter however you want.

Explore 8 unique shelters

Discovering and rehoming cats earns you Reputation, allowing you to unlock new shelters. Each shelter comes with a unique theme and set of cats.

Take your time

You can spend a session opening crates, chasing cats around with the wand, decorating, and working toward the next shelter.

Tired of working so hard playing with the cats? Take a break and sit back, watching the cats entertain themselves and make passive progress. Cats also keep gaining XP and earning donations while the game is closed.
