Multiplayer brings new challenges and possibilities for our team, and from the beginning, we wanted our most dedicated players to be part of that process. Since launch, player feedback has helped us identify what’s working, what needs improvement, and what features can make Dimensional Double Shift a better experience. That feedback has already helped shape the game through new features, quality-of-life improvements, and continued updates to the overall experience.

As we work toward making Dimensional Double Shift a complete game experience, Early Access allows us to keep learning from how our community actually plays together and use those learnings to help guide where we go next.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Dimensional Double Shift to remain in early access until we feel the game is ready to release. We currently do not have a set timeline to full launch but expect at minimum one year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to build on the current Early Access foundation by expanding the multiplayer content available, adding more dimensions, modes, and progression options based on what resonates most with players. We plan to continue refining core gameplay systems, improving matchmaking and performance, and polishing the overall experience based on community feedback. We'd also like to add more customization and social features to deepen the multiplayer experience. Our goal is for the full version to feel like a complete, well-rounded game that reflects everything we've learned from working alongside our players during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Dimensional Double Shift is currently live in Early Access as a fully playable multiplayer game. Players can jump in and experience the core gameplay loop, matchmaking, and progression systems we've built so far. Since launch, we've been actively updating the game with bug fixes, balance changes, and improvements based on player feedback. While the game is stable and enjoyable to play now, there are still features, content, and polish we want to add before we consider it a complete, full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to stay closely connected with our community through Steam discussions, our Discord server, and social media, listening to feedback on features, balance, and overall experience. We plan to run regular updates based on what players are telling us, and we'll be transparent about what we're working on and why. Player feedback has already shaped decisions since launch, and we want that collaborative relationship to continue throughout Early Access, whether it's through surveys, community events, or simply reading and responding to what players share.”
