About This Game

Kron Wars is a persistent sci-fi MMO that you play directly in your browser. No download. No installation. Open a tab and you are in the Frontier.

A living universe with thousands of players, ten types of AI-driven NPCs, and an economy built entirely by the commanders who travel through it. And one mechanic that no other MMO has: war rewrites the map.

THE STORY

The old empires collapsed. The trade routes fractured. In the silence that remained, a new frontier emerged — vast, lawless and full of opportunity. Commanders arrived from every corner of the galaxy to claim what was left. Some found shelter in STARDOCK — the great citadel of the Lawful, a beacon of order and commerce at the heart of the Frontier. Others found a home in SHADOWDOCK — the hidden stronghold of the Outlaws, constructed in the darkness between the stars, beyond the reach of any law.

Two docks. Two philosophies. One Frontier.

The Frontier is yours. What you do with it is everything.

WAR REWRITES THE MAP

Universe View

Routes are not fixed. Every battle fought in the Frontier charges The Kron. When the charge reaches its limit, the connections between sectors and Jump Gates are rewritten. Trade routes change. Strategic positions reverse. The map you knew yesterday is no longer the map of today.

This is not a scheduled event. War itself triggers it. The more you fight, the more the universe transforms — and nobody can stop it, because stopping it would mean stopping the war. Only high-security sectors remain stable. They are the nodes around which everything else rotates.

In Kron Wars, cartography is a profession. Commanders who learn to predict the rewrite reach the right ports before everyone else. And the commander who controls a Jump Gate at the moment the map changes controls the traffic of an entire region.

EXPLORE

Planet

Each universe contains up to 9,000 sectors and 1,800 trading ports — asteroid fields, nebulae, hidden stations and unexplored deep space, ready to be claimed. Several parallel universes operate at the same time, each with its own market and its own balance of power. One-way and two-way Jump Gates connect the sectors. Exploration becomes strategy: the commander who knows the map controls the routes.

MULTI-UNIVERSE

The Frontier never stops expanding. New universes are added over time — each one a new arena, a new market, a new political landscape to shape.

But they are not separate servers. One account. One currency. One commander. Your KRON is valid everywhere, your name follows you, your assets are a single fortune. You can conquer sectors in one universe, own ports in another and colonise planets in a third — all under the same flag, with no restart.

The most advanced Spire Citadels open corridors between realities: you can transfer entire fleets from one universe to another. A corporation under siege can call reinforcements from a distant universe. A conflict that appeared local becomes a war on a multi-universe scale — and the greatest battles of the Frontier are fought with ships that arrived from worlds the enemy had never seen.

KRON AND THE INTERGALACTIC BANK

Every credit in Kron Wars is based on KRON (₭) — the single currency of the galaxy, operated by the KRON Intergalactic Bank. Every transaction is registered on the Bank's secure Quantum Ledger, a tamper-proof system that guarantees full transparency, prevents duplication and eliminates fraud across the Frontier.

KRON has no real-world value and exists only inside the game. It is the same currency in every universe: what you earn at the edge of the Frontier you spend at its centre, with no conversion and no loss. The Bank regulates supply, monitors the markets and finances the largest corporate wars of the Frontier.

TRADE

Trading Port

Trade is the backbone of Kron Wars — a complete circular economy in which every resource has an origin, a route and a destination. Buy low, sell high, exploit the price differences between systems and construct the most profitable trading empire in the universe.

But not all trade happens in the open. The black market runs parallel to the legal economy — and it often pays much better. Smugglers, Outlaw operators and clandestine brokers move illegal cargo through contested space and sustain a shadow economy that nobody fully controls. Master both worlds and you will control the Frontier.

COMBAT

Kilboard

From one-on-one ambushes in deep space to large-scale multiplayer fleet battles, combat in Kron Wars is tactical, consequential and permanent. Choose your battles with care — every engagement is registered on the public Killboard, visible to every commander in the universe.

Follow your record with detailed combat statistics and battle analysis: damage dealt, ships destroyed, tactics used and outcomes over time. Fight in PvP against rival commanders, complete PvE missions against the threats of the universe, or coordinate with your corporation for military campaigns. In the Frontier, your Killboard tells your story.

And every shot fired charges The Kron. Combat does not only change the outcome of a battle: it changes the geography of the universe.

MISSIONS

Missions

Kron Wars offers more than 400 missions — from rapid contracts to campaigns in multiple parts. Some you can complete alone. Others are multiplayer missions: they require a crew, and they do not unlock until you find the right partners.

The Frontier is divided, and the missions are divided with it. There are Lawful contracts for those who defend order and commerce, Outlaw assignments for those who live beyond the reach of the law — and much more that belongs to neither side. The path you select opens some doors and closes others.

Many missions are interconnected: completing one unlocks another, and the longest chains lead where most commanders never arrive.

And this is where Kron Wars does something almost no game does. Missions do not only give rewards: they reveal the game itself. Mechanics that no guide describes, systems that appear in no tutorial, locations that appear on no map. You will not unlock them by reading a wiki, because nobody has written it yet. Only the commander with the courage to go and look will find them.

Every mission has consequences. Stories branch and converge. Some paths lead to power. Some lead to war. A few lead to truths about the Frontier that change everything — and the commander who discovers them understands that the game was never what it appeared to be.

CORPORATIONS

Corporation

Eight great Corporations divide the Frontier — each with its own ideology, its own territory and its own objectives. They are living political entities, operated by players. Join a corporation, demonstrate your value with missions that reinforce alliances and provoke rivalries, and advance through the ranks.

Every corporation operates through a democratic voting system: members vote on military campaigns, territorial expansion, resource allocation and treaties. Sufficient dedication, sufficient victories, and the command is yours. Players can rise to lead their own corporation — and shape the politics of entire universes.

Every corporation maintains its own CORPBASE in every universe — a permanent headquarters that functions as a gathering point, a depot and a strategic command centre. Players can also open their own Spire Citadel to corporation members and create a network of trusted outposts across the Frontier. Every shared Spire Citadel is another corner of the universe where your allies can feel at home — and another position to defend.

MINING

Mining

The Frontier lives on what it produces. Miners — both NPC and player — extract raw ore from asteroid fields, planetary deposits and deep space anomalies, and supply the entire circular economy from below.

Dozens of ore types are distributed across every universe — rare compounds in hidden sectors, common minerals on the established routes, exotic materials that exist only in the most dangerous corners of the Frontier. Know where to mine. Know what to mine. The rest of the economy depends on it.

CONSTRUCTION

In Kron Wars you do not only purchase ships — you design them. The Construction system permits players to obtain and master Blueprints: technical schematics for every vessel class in the Frontier, from light scouts to capital warships. Collect the raw materials, initiate production on a planet or a Spire Citadel, and construct ships to your exact specifications.

The real power? Sell what you construct. Commanders who control a StarPort can offer their ships on the open market or the black market — and become the backbone of the fleet economy in their region of the universe. Kron Wars includes a sophisticated planetary production analysis system: it monitors production efficiency, material flow, bottlenecks and market demand in real time. The most successful shipbuilders do not only construct — they optimise.

SPIRE CITADEL AND STARPORT

Claim your territory. Construct your fortress. The Spire Citadel is the ultimate player-built stronghold — an operational base where corporations and independent commanders can produce goods, coordinate fleets and defend what they have conquered. Spire Citadels generate passive income and production bonuses, and the most advanced ones open the corridors that permit fleet transfer between universes. To own one is power. To lose one is war.

The StarPort goes further: open your port to the galaxy and become a centre of commerce. Direct it toward the legal market or the black market — or both. The most prosperous StarPorts of the Frontier attract merchants, smugglers and rivals in equal measure.

PLANETS

Colonise uninhabited worlds and transform them into machines of war and wealth. Planets produce raw materials, generate fighter squadrons and function as the base for installing Spire Citadels and StarPorts. Develop your colony, attract population, construct defences — and observe a bare rock become the most strategic resource in the sector.

Every planet is a potential empire. Every empire is a target.

NPC

Ten distinct NPC types move through the universes of Kron Wars — each with its own behaviour, its own memory and its own purpose. Merchant Convoys operate the supply routes. Alien Traders deal in goods you find nowhere else. Pirate Fleets patrol the trade routes. Police Patrols defend Lawful space. Krull Miners supply the economy. DRAX Rigs extract where nobody else dares. Elyndari Surveyors map the unknown and listen to frequencies that should not exist. Courier Drones move cargo between systems. Bounty Hunters pursue outlaws.

They tell stories. They observe. They maintain order — or they create chaos. Attack one and it will remember. Assist another and you will earn an ally. The universe is never empty. It is never neutral.

And then there is something that appears in no official register. The Kryllith Legion manifests rarely, in sectors where nobody expects it. They do not trade. They do not negotiate. Your HoloScan struggles to classify them. Most commanders will never encounter one. Those who do never forget it.

A GAME THAT NEVER STANDS STILL

Whether you construct a quiet trading empire in an established universe or conquer new territory at the far edge of the Frontier, Kron Wars is never the same game twice. The map changes because you change it. The universe grows with its players. Every corner of the Frontier is somebody's home — and somebody else's target.

The Frontier is vast. The war has already begun. Which side are you on?
