This End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is a legal contract between you ("Player", "User", or "you") and Alien Bulb Studios ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), the developer and publisher of Kron Wars (the "Game").
By accessing, installing, downloading, or playing Kron Wars through Steam, the official website kronwars.com, or any authorized client, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease using the Game. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must accept this EULA on your behalf and takes full responsibility for all activities conducted through your Account.

2.1 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Alien Bulb Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and play Kron Wars for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes;
  
• Install and use the Game client on devices you own or control;
  
• Access and use in-game features, content, and services made available to you.

This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the Game or its content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Alien Bulb Studios.
2.2 Software Updates
Alien Bulb Studios may at any time update, patch, or modify the Game client. By using the Game, you grant Alien Bulb Studios permission to (i) identify hardware and system profile data relevant to running the Game, (ii) extract information from your file system pertaining to the Game, and (iii) download updates and files required for Game operation. You are not entitled to receive new releases or expansions under this EULA unless Alien Bulb Studios chooses to provide them.

3.1 Account Creation
To play Kron Wars, you must create an Account providing accurate, current, and complete information. You may also link your Account to a Steam account via Valve's authentication system.
3.2 Multiple Accounts
You may maintain more than one Account; however, using multiple Accounts simultaneously to gain an unfair competitive advantage, circumvent bans, or exploit game mechanics is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of all related Accounts.
3.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may not share your Account with any other person. You must notify Alien Bulb Studios immediately at info@kronwars.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Alien Bulb Studios is not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
3.4 Account Linking (Steam)
When playing via Steam, your Steam account will be automatically linked to your Kron Wars Account using your SteamID. You may not disassociate your Steam account and re-link a different one without prior written authorization from Alien Bulb Studios.
3.5 Account Transfer
You are not permitted to sell, trade, or transfer your Account or any of its attributes to another person, except as expressly permitted in writing by Alien Bulb Studios. Any unauthorized transfer is void and may result in termination of the Account.
3.6 Inactive Accounts
Alien Bulb Studios may suspend or close Accounts that have been inactive for 180 or more consecutive days. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email before closing an inactive Account.

Your continued access to Kron Wars is subject to proper conduct. Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your Account.
4.1 Prohibited Conduct
You may NOT:

1. Use cheats, hacks, bots, macros, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage;
   
2. Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics without reporting them to info@kronwars.com;
   
3. Engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination toward other players or Alien Bulb Studios staff;
   
4. Impersonate Alien Bulb Studios staff, moderators, or other players;
   
5. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game client or server software;
   
6. Intercept, modify, or interfere with Game network traffic or server communications;
   
7. Engage in Real-Money Trading (RMT) of KRON, in-game items, or Accounts outside of authorized channels;
   
8. Transfer, sell, or auction in-game characters, items, currency, or objects through any external means;
   
9. Use the Game for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Alien Bulb Studios;
   
10. Submit content to Game chat or forums that is harassing, abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful;
    
11. Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Game servers.

4.2 PvP, Kron Wars Events, and Game Mechanics
Kron Wars includes Player vs. Player (PvP) combat, piracy, economic warfare, corporate espionage, hostile territorial actions, and Kron Wars events — organized competitive events in which corporations and independent commanders vie for KRON supremacy, territorial control, and public rankings across the universe. These are all intended game mechanics. Losses incurred through PvP, Kron Wars event participation, raids, market manipulation, or political actions are not grounds for complaints or refunds. By playing in PvP-enabled sectors or participating in Kron Wars events, you acknowledge and accept the associated risks, including the permanent loss of KRON, ships, items, and territorial assets.
4.3 Communications - No Expectation of Privacy
Communications within Kron Wars including public chat, private in-game messages, and forum posts are not private. Alien Bulb Studios and its representatives may monitor such communications for safety, fraud prevention, and enforcement of this EULA. You acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy regarding in-game communications.
4.4 Monitoring for Anti-Cheat
Alien Bulb Studios may remotely monitor your Game environment solely to verify that you are using authorized software and not tools that violate this EULA.
4.5 Player Reporting
Players may report violations using the in-game reporting system or by emailing info@kronwars.com. Alien Bulb Studios will investigate at its sole discretion and is not obligated to disclose the outcome of any investigation.
4.6 Automated Content Monitoring and Profanity Filtering
To protect the safety of the community and maintain a respectful environment, all communications you send through the Game — including public chat, private in-game messages, and in-game mail — are automatically processed, analyzed, and logged by automated systems, including a multi-language profanity and abuse filter. These systems exist to safeguard player safety, ensure transparency, and to detect, filter, and block profanity, hate speech, harassment, or other content that is offensive or harmful toward other players or Alien Bulb Studios staff.
Messages may be filtered, masked, or blocked in real time, and records of flagged communications may be retained in our systems for moderation, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, as further described in our Privacy Policy. This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe, lawful, and respectful community, and in the performance of this Agreement.
The repeated or serious use of profanity, offensive language, or abusive content may result in escalating consequences at Alien Bulb Studios' sole discretion, including automated warnings, temporary mute or suspension of communication features, and — for repeated or severe violations — permanent termination (ban) of your Account in accordance with Section 11. Continued use of the Game constitutes your acknowledgement of, and consent to, this automated monitoring and filtering.

5.1 KRON Currency
Kron Wars features KRON (₭), a virtual in-game currency. KRON has no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, cannot be redeemed outside the Game, and cannot be transferred between Accounts except through authorized in-game mechanics.
5.2 No Value in Time Spent Playing
You have no interest in the monetary or commercial value of your time spent playing the Game. The experience, rank, KRON, items, corporations, bases, and other attributes accumulated during play are the sole and exclusive property of Alien Bulb Studios. You are not entitled to any compensation for time invested in the Game, regardless of the circumstances under which your Account is terminated or content is modified.
5.3 Purchases via Steam
Players accessing Kron Wars through Steam may purchase KRON packs, cosmetic items, and in-game content exclusively through the Steam Wallet using the Steam Microtransaction system. All Steam purchases are subject to Valve's Terms of Service and refund policy.
5.4 Purchases via kronwars.com
Players accessing Kron Wars through the official website or non-Steam clients may purchase in-game content through Alien Bulb Studios' own payment system on kronwars.com, subject to the refund policy in Section 5.7.
5.5 No Cross-Platform Payment Bypass
Players using Kron Wars through Steam will not be redirected to kronwars.com or any external website to complete purchases that should be processed through the Steam Wallet, in compliance with Valve's platform requirements.
5.6 No Real-World Value of Virtual Assets
All virtual items, currency, and content in Kron Wars have no monetary value outside the Game. Alien Bulb Studios may modify, remove, or rebalance any content at any time without compensation.
5.7 Refund Policy
All purchases of virtual currency and in-game items are generally final and non-refundable. Exceptions may be granted at Alien Bulb Studios' sole discretion for unauthorized transactions or technical errors attributable to Alien Bulb Studios, or where required by applicable law. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to info@kronwars.com.
5.8 Fraud Prevention
Alien Bulb Studios employs fraud detection systems to protect the in-game economy. Suspicious transactions may be delayed, reviewed, or cancelled. Newly purchased KRON and items may be subject to a holding period. Alien Bulb Studios may claw back items or KRON obtained through fraudulent means.
5.9 Kron Wars Events
Kron Wars events are periodic competitive events organized within the Game in which players and corporations compete for KRON rankings, territorial bonuses, and in-game rewards. By participating in a Kron Wars event, you acknowledge and accept that:

• All KRON wagered, distributed, lost, or earned during Kron Wars events is subject to all provisions of this Section 5 and has no real-world monetary value;
  
• Alien Bulb Studios reserves the right to modify, postpone, cancel, or alter the parameters, duration, rules, and rewards of any Kron Wars event at any time, without prior notice and without compensation;
  
• Outcomes of Kron Wars events — including KRON losses, territorial defeats, and ranking changes — are intended competitive results and are not grounds for refunds or complaints;
  
• Any attempt to manipulate Kron Wars event outcomes through unauthorized means, collusion, or exploitation of bugs constitutes a violation of Section 4.1 and may result in Account termination.

Kron Wars is currently in Early Access. The Game is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, and content subject to significant change. By participating in Early Access, you acknowledge that:

• The Game may be unstable and subject to unexpected interruptions;
  
• Game content, mechanics, economy balance, Kron Wars event rules, and features may change substantially before full release;
  
• Progress, items, or KRON earned or purchased during Early Access may be modified, reset, or removed;
  
• Such changes do not constitute grounds for refunds unless required by law.

7.1 Ownership
Kron Wars including its name, logo, artwork, music, code, characters, lore, and all related content is the exclusive intellectual property of Alien Bulb Studios. The Game is an original work and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any prior game of a similar name or its creators. All game assets that players acquire during gameplay including characters, corporations, items, KRON, Kron Wars event rankings and rewards, and objects are the sole and exclusive property of Alien Bulb Studios.
7.2 Restrictions
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Game content without the prior written permission of Alien Bulb Studios.
7.3 AI-Generated Content
Certain visual assets in Kron Wars including spaceship designs, environment artwork, and promotional materials were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, curated, and integrated by the Alien Bulb Studios team.
7.4 User Content and Submissions
If you submit feedback, bug reports, suggestions, or content through any channel, you grant Alien Bulb Studios a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate such submissions without compensation. User Content transmitted in-game must not violate any law, infringe third-party rights, or contain harmful code.
7.5 Content Creation and Streaming
Alien Bulb Studios grants players permission to create and publish gameplay videos, streams, screenshots, and fan content for non-commercial purposes, provided such content clearly credits Kron Wars and Alien Bulb Studios. Commercial use requires prior written authorization.

Your use of Kron Wars is subject to our Privacy Policy available at kronwars.com/privacy-policy/. By using the Game, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of personal data as described therein, including transfer of data outside the European Economic Area where reasonably necessary to operate the Game. When playing via Steam, Valve Corporation's Privacy Policy also applies.
Alien Bulb Studios may disclose information about you to law enforcement or government officials as required by applicable law or as Alien Bulb Studios deems necessary to investigate possible violations of this EULA.

⚠ WARNING: In rare instances, certain users may experience seizures when exposed to flashing lights or certain light patterns on screen. This can occur even in persons with no history of epilepsy or prior seizures. If you or anyone in your household has an epileptic condition, consult a physician before playing. If you experience symptoms such as dizziness, altered vision, disorientation, or loss of consciousness while playing, immediately discontinue use and consult a physician.

Alien Bulb Studios reserves the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Kron Wars at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify players of significant changes through official channels. Alien Bulb Studios does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Game and is not liable for service interruptions, scheduled maintenance, or unforeseen downtime.

11.1 Termination by Alien Bulb Studios - Discontinuation of Game
Alien Bulb Studios may cease all services, terminate this EULA, and close all Accounts upon 30 days' notice communicated via the Game, website, Steam, or email.
11.2 Termination by Alien Bulb Studios - Breach or Misconduct
Alien Bulb Studios may immediately, without notice, suspend or permanently terminate your Account and any other Accounts sharing your email, IP address, or payment method, in the event of: (i) a breach of this EULA; (ii) unauthorized access to the Game; or (iii) conduct that is inappropriate, offensive, or harmful.
11.3 Termination by You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by ceasing to use the Game and submitting a deletion request to info@kronwars.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in Section 5.7.
11.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, all licenses granted under this EULA immediately cease. All KRON, items, progress, characters, corporations, bases, Kron Wars event rankings, and assets associated with a terminated Account are forfeited without compensation. Users whose Accounts have been closed may not access the Game through any other Account without express written permission from Alien Bulb Studios.

Kron Wars including all Game content and services is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. There is no warranty against interference with your enjoyment of the Game. Alien Bulb Studios does not warrant that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alien Bulb Studios, its affiliates, licensors, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Game, including loss of virtual items, KRON, Kron Wars event rankings or rewards, data, or game progress.
Alien Bulb Studios' total liability for any claims arising from this EULA shall not exceed an amount equal to the fees you paid to Alien Bulb Studios in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the equivalent of one (1) month of services, whichever is greater.

You shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alien Bulb Studios and its affiliates, licensors, and suppliers, and their respective employees, contractors, officers, and directors, from any and all claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) your use or misuse of the Game; (ii) any activities conducted through your Account, whether by you or any other person; (iii) your violation of this EULA or any applicable law; and (iv) any claim that your User Content infringes the rights of a third party.

Alien Bulb Studios is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, power failures, cyberattacks, or internet disruptions.

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Any disputes arising from this EULA shall first be submitted to informal negotiation by contacting info@kronwars.com. If not resolved informally within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Italy.
Players located in the European Union retain the right to access alternative dispute resolution through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr. Nothing in this EULA limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

Alien Bulb Studios may amend this EULA at any time by posting an updated version at kronwars.com/eula and notifying players via the Game, Steam, or email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of Kron Wars after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA. If an amendment to a material term is unacceptable to you, your sole remedy is to terminate this EULA as described in Section 11.3.

Severability: If any provision of this EULA is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be construed to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: This EULA, together with the Privacy Policy and any incorporated policies, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Alien Bulb Studios regarding the Game.
No Assignment: You may not assign or transfer this EULA or any rights hereunder without prior written consent from Alien Bulb Studios. Alien Bulb Studios may assign this EULA in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Compliance with Laws: You shall comply with all applicable laws regarding your access to and use of the Game, including applicable export control laws.
Notices: All notices to Alien Bulb Studios shall be sent to info@kronwars.com unless otherwise specified in this EULA.
