The Empress Is Dead. Long Live The Empress!

One year has passed since the unfortunate accident of the late Empress.
Now, as the mourning period ends within the Forbidden City, the Emperor must appoint a new Empress.

This is your chance!

You have spent years as a mere consort of the Emperor... But now honor, wealth and power could all be yours! Play your cards wisely, earn the Emperor's favor and claim the throne for yourself!

But be careful — the other Consorts of the Emperor seek the very same prize.

Win the Emperors Heart and claim the Throne

Consorts of the Emperor is a secret identity card game in which players manipulate the deck to ensure they present the best gifts to the Emperor… while their rivals present the worst.

  • Manipulate the deck by placing your cards between upcoming cards.

  • Play powerful action cards to change the outcome of a round.

  • Predict where your rivals will play to outsmart them.

  • Keep your identity hidden until the perfect moment.

You are never alone in the Forbidden City!

  • Play online against other players!

  • Learn the game through a tutorial match against the computer.

  • Spectate matches as:

    • The Emperor — seeing only public information

    • The Eunuch — seeing every hidden role and secret play
