What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are launching in Early Access because Furniture Store Simulator is already a playable store loop — stock, pricing, checkout, and showroom decoration that actually affects sales — but it is not the finished game yet.

Early Access lets us ship that core fantasy first, then grow the catalog, polish customers and days, and expand the shop with real player feedback instead of guessing behind closed doors.

The store page is Coming Soon for now. When we enter Early Access, you will be able to run the shop, decorate, and see how a good showroom sells. Themes, content, and quality will keep expanding until the 1.0 release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 12 months.

That is our current plan, not a hard promise. We will leave Early Access when the core loop, catalog, and stability are ready for a 1.0 release. If community feedback adds important work, Early Access may last a little longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the 1.0 version to be a deeper, more complete furniture store than the Early Access build.

During Early Access, we plan to add more furniture and decor collections, extra store styles beyond the starting themes, and more ways to grow the shop (more floor space, better tools, and stronger day-to-day management).

We also plan to keep polishing customers, lighting, placement, and the overall feel of running a showroom, plus audio, accessibility, and extra language support.

Early Access is the live shop. The full version is the same game, filled out and tightened with player feedback. We are not promising specific dates, extra modes, or a fixed feature list beyond that direction.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“When Early Access begins, Furniture Store Simulator is planned to be a playable first-person furniture store: you can stock products, set prices, take payments, place furniture and decor, and see a well-styled showroom affect sales.

The starting shop is planned to include a decorate-able showroom, a backroom, checkout, and several furniture / decor styles to work with. You can run full days: open, serve, close, then restyle after hours.

Early Access will still be a living build. We plan to keep adding collections, polish, and quality-of-life after launch. Art, customers, audio, and extra languages will continue to improve during Early Access. The game is single-player. There are no microtransactions.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price as we add more content and polish during Early Access, and again for the 1.0 release if the game has grown enough.

Buying during Early Access is planned to be the cheaper way in. Anyone who owns the Early Access version will receive the full 1.0 update at no extra cost. There are no planned microtransactions.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to develop Furniture Store Simulator in the open with the people who actually play it.

The main place will be Steam: discussions, announcements, and patch notes. We plan to read bug reports, wishlists for furniture and tools, and feedback on the shop loop (decoration, sales, pacing).

We also plan small playtests and to ship regular updates so players can see changes land in the game, not only on a roadmap. Nothing is a promise of a specific feature, date, or extra mode — community input will help us choose what to polish and what to add next.”

About This Game

Furniture Store Simulator is a first-person management game. You run a furniture and home decor shop: you order stock, set prices, take payments — and you build real interiors that make people want to buy.

Sofas stacked in the backroom will not sell. A warm, coherent loft living room will. Layout, lighting, and decoration are not there to look pretty: they decide what customers notice, how long they stay, and what they take to the register.

- Build a living corner: sofa, coffee table, lamp, art, plants.

- Place furniture and decor anywhere: floors, walls, ceilings.

- Unlock new styles as you grow, from industrial loft to later collections.

- Expand the shop and turn an empty space into a place people want to walk into.

- Buy inventory, watch for stockouts, and price every piece.

- Take payments at the checkout and keep the showroom ready.

- Balance a beautiful store with a business that actually makes money.

- Close the day, see what worked, then restyle after the doors are shut.

You open, you run the floor, you close — then you spend the evening moving that one lamp until it feels right. Add Furniture Store Simulator to your wishlist, and be there on day one.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI was used for some Steam store and marketing materials only (section banners and draft store copy). These assets were reviewed and edited before publishing.

No generative AI is used in the shipped game at runtime. In-game 3D furniture, environments, and gameplay content are created with traditional art and development tools (purchased/licensed assets and original work). AI-assisted coding tools were used during development; they are not used to generate player-facing game content.
