The high-speed line between Nürnberg and Ingolstadt opened to traffic in 2006 as part of a longer connection between Berlin and Munich. Following the path of the A9 motorway, the line cuts through the forested landscape to prioritise speed, resulting in many tunnels, gentle sweeping curves and dominating gradients.



Become a driver along the fastest German route to date in Train Sim World. Race non-stop on ICE services between Ingolstadt and Nurnberg, taking in the 90km of break-neck route at 5km a minute. Hop onto the fastest regional services in Germany, hurrying along at a more leisurely 200 km/h, and stopping at intermediate stations nestled among the valleys.



Your high-speed traction takes the form of the ICE 3, the iconic staple for Germany’s fastest domestic services, and featuring the full red stripe variant for the first time. Ready up for regional services aboard the bold red, München-Nürnberg-Express inscribed coaches & cab car, working in push-pull configuration with the classic & time-weathered DB BR 101.

With layered content (all available separetely) tackle the high-speed tracks from the cabs of other ICE traffic, including the ultra-modern DB BR 412 ICE 4! Get a taste of the commuter life by shuttling between Nurnberg and Feucht in the DB BR 442, and embark on the ultimate journey by route hopping to Nurnberg - Wurzburg and beyond.
