Why Early Access?

“We want to bring our community into the development process early to help shape the final form of Elsewhere. While the core story and major systems are already fully implemented, Early Access allows us to refine the rough edges, perfect mechanics, and collaborate directly with players to make the experience as polished and fun as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate that Elsewhere will remain in Early Access for approximately 1 to 1.5 years. However, this timeline may grow/shrink as we listen to player feedback and ensure the game meets our standards for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature refined mechanics, polished systems, and expanded content based on community input. While we want to keep some surprises under wraps, players can look forward to major additions like voice acting for notable characters (including Wonder) and potential post-launch DLC’s.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Elsewhere is already highly playable and features the complete base storyline. Most core mechanics and systems are already fully implemented and refined. While a few secondary features are still being finalized, the most critical aspects of the game are polished, and ready to experience from start to finish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Elsewhere will be priced lower during Early Access as a thank you to our early supporters. The price will increase when we transition to the full launch, so purchasing now offers the best value while allowing you to support development. If more people get the game now, we’ll have more feedback to expand on.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is very important to our development. We involve our players through frequent playtests and a community Discord. The Discord will include live voice sessions and text channels specifically for feedback and suggestions.”

Story

Billions of years ago, the Universal Council gathered to choose caretakers for the seven dream universes. After centuries of debate, the honor was put upon the dragons, seven ancient guardians, each tasked with protecting a single universe.

For thousands of years, peace reigned. But now, the dream realms are dying, and one of the great dragons has vanished, abandoning their duty.

Vile entities made of black smoke and piercing white eyes, known only as the Unknown, have begun to bleed into the universes, most specifically Elsewhere, the universe assigned to Wonder the dragon. With every passing second, their power grows stronger as the universe grows weaker.

The guardian dragons alone seem to be powerless against the Unknown. Now, the fate of reality rests on a team of one lone human, and a single dragon willing to stand and fight.
