About This Game

• You are a Whitewasher, a cleaner hired to do the dirty jobs nobody talks about. Every shift, suspicious boxes arrive by elevator. Your job: take them, figure out how to open them safely, destroy the evidence inside, and ask no questions. But the boxes have a way of making you ask anyway.

• Receive and Open Boxes: Every box that arrives is locked, labeled, and potentially dangerous. Examine the markings, work out the lock mechanism, and determine the correct procedure to open it without triggering hidden hazards. One wrong move could harm the contents or you.

• Operate Different Disposal Machines: Follow specific procedures to run a variety of disposal machines. Adjust settings and avoid mistakes that could damage the equipment or cause valuable materials to be lost.

Piece Together the Story: Examine the contents of each package, uncover hidden clues, and decide whether to follow orders or question them as you unravel the mystery.

• Craft, Dig, and Escape: Nobody leaves this job on their own terms, so you’ll have to make your own exit. Scavenge parts from the evidence passing through your hands and craft tools. Dig too fast and you’ll be caught. Dig too slowly and you might become the next box in the elevator.
