What Is Slammer?

A multiplayer FPS where the gunplay comes first. 32 weapons, 24 attachments, learnable recoil, and hit registration the server actually verifies. It's headed toward a battle royale. Right now it's a free playtest you can be in within two clicks.

What You Can Play Right Now

Four-player online matches with objective modes and bots that fight like people.

• Kill Race — race to reach a kill target. Activate it by shooting a glass box, which puts your position on blast.

• Lockdown — hold a zone against escalating waves of bots. No respawns.

• 32 weapons across 7 categories — assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, marksman rifles, snipers, pistols, launchers

• Full gunsmith with 24 attachments that actually change how a weapon handles

• Bolt action, semi-auto, burst, and full auto with recoil patterns you can learn

• Hybrid ballistics — hitscan up close, simulated projectiles at range

• Bots that play by your rules — same inputs, same information, no aim assist and no wallhacks. Squad up or run it solo.

• Full controller support with aim assist

• Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck

Where It's Going

The battle royale is in active development. The playtest exists because the gunplay has to be right before anything else matters. Every weapon and every system you're testing is the foundation the full game gets built on.

Slammer is built by one person. I work in Unreal Engine professionally by day and build this at night, and there's a new build and dev log every Friday.
