Why Early Access?

“We believe Meowstery Wisp is best developed alongside its community. Social deduction games naturally evolve through player interaction, balance feedback, and emergent gameplay moments. By launching in Early Access, we want to work closely with players while expanding the game with new maps, new game modes, additional mechanics, events, and overall improvements.

Our goal is to build a long-term multiplayer experience shaped not only by our vision, but also by community feedback and playtesting insights.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Meowstery Wisp to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months. However, the exact duration may change depending on community feedback, development progress, and the scope of planned features.

We want to ensure the game reaches a polished and content-rich state before leaving Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Meowstery Wisp to include significantly more content and systems compared to the Early Access launch. This may include additional maps, new game modes, expanded gameplay mechanics, a wider variety of minigames, more customization options, quality-of-life improvements, and expanded social features.

We also plan to continuously improve the game based on community feedback, while further refining overall balance, stability, multiplayer infrastructure, onboarding experience, and long-term replayability throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are currently in the playtest phase of Meowstery Wisp. Following our demo release and additional improvements based on player feedback, we plan to launch the game in Early Access on our planned release date.

The game is already playable and contains the core gameplay experience of Meowstery Wisp. Players can join matches with their friends, explore the manor, communicate through proximity voice chat, complete objectives, and participate in social deduction gameplay centered around investigation, deception, and time pressure mechanics.

We are actively improving the game through community feedback, balancing, polish, optimization, and ongoing feature development throughout the Early Access process.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan for the full version of Meowstery Wisp to be priced higher than the Early Access version as the game expands with additional content, features, improvements, and overall polish throughout development.

Players who join during Early Access will not only support the development of the game early on, but will also gain access to future updates as the experience continues to grow.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a major role in the development of Meowstery Wisp. We plan to actively listen to player suggestions, gameplay feedback, balance discussions, bug reports, and overall community sentiment through Steam discussions, Discord, playtests, and social platforms.

Our goal is to maintain transparent communication with the community and continuously improve the game based on real player experiences and feedback throughout the Early Access development process.”
