The Will and Torment of El Brante is a dark narrative RPG about defying fate in a dying world. In the Blessed Arcnian Empire, order was upheld by blood, fear, and faith in the Twins — the Gods who descended to earth many centuries ago, bringing with Them the True Faith. Their followers outlawed magic, consigned other religions to oblivion, and divided the people into three Lots. From that moment on, every person’s fate was predetermined from birth: nobles rule, priests guide, and commoners suffer.

The True Faith has fractured. The Old and New Churches wage their own struggle. Countless sects are emerging. The people rise in ever more rebellions and reject the Lots, while conspirators weave their intrigues in the shadows. Magic, branded heresy for centuries and nearly eradicated, is breaking back into the world. The world will never be the same.

Take on the role of Sir El Brante — an inquisitor condemned by the Twins Themselves to True Death, yet risen in defiance of Their Will. Complete the path of a man whose story seemed to have already ended. Shape El Brante’s personality anew through choices, deeds, and sacrifices, deciding who he will become in the age of the Empire’s collapse.

Decide whom to trust, whom to save, whom to betray, and what to sacrifice. Your actions can drastically change El Brante’s path: opening new opportunities, leading to unexpected events, and determining his role in the history of the world.

In this cruel and restless world, you will not only face difficult choices, but also take part in numerous battles — use your reflexes, equipment, cunning, and willpower to defeat your enemies.
