Vitalis is a TTRPG-inspired Roguelike and Dungeon Crawler where you try to escape an occult forest. Cast your die to move, fight, and flee. Scale your character, collect items, and weapons. Defeat the boss and leave the forest, or run away and bide your time.

“Vitalis is a large and complex project for a small team of only 3 developers. It is bound for a lot of improvements, which means a lot of feedback needs to be gathered. Early access will help us gather public reaction and get valuable feedback from players that will affect our development decisions. The project will continue to receive updates for a year before completion.”

For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Everything will be exposed one day, to everyone and yourself.

The Forest gives the perfect cover for all sins committed. Layers of trees, the absence of sunlight, it may as well be a dark prison hall, home to all sorts of sick and twisted minds. Among them are monsters, murderers, thieves, robbers, all sharing the stage for the great demonstration of cruel savagery. For whatever reason, ending up in the Forest is a death wish.

You will take the role of one unfortunate soul who was left abandoned in the forest. The goal is to survive long enough to get out. Along the way, learn the story and predicaments of the characters, and find the secret of the forest.

Gameplay:

Vitalis is a TTRPG-inspired Roguelike and Dungeon Crawler, in which the player takes the role of a character, trying to leave the Forest. Movement is determined via die cast, with events determined by landing on tiles. Players can engage in combat, find items, and make choices in random events. A final boss will be guarding the exit.
