Why Early Access?

“Early access helps push the development of the game as it puts less pressure on me. Having feedback during the early access stage helps me produce a better product before I think to change the price of Adrift.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect to have the game out of early access the start of July.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently I have a fully developed playable state. However, I need to add story aspects and cutscenes to add more connection with the player base. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Adrift currently runs all UI to its minimum state. The game allows a save state that can be either overwritten or accessed. You can find all 15 moles in the early access version which triggers the "win game" achievement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to have Early Access be free so players would easily access the content to return necessary feedback. However, when completed I plan to increase the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Once released on Early Access, I would appreciate feedback from the community through honest reviews to help develop the contents and fix issues that are present. Feel free to contact me on the Steam Forum.”

About This Game

Adrift is a game for people who are looking to calmly relax and explore a quiet forest and craft and collect items throughout it. Relax and enjoy the ambiance and music of the forest. Craft items to eventually map out hidden tunnels created by moles underneath the forest. Your overall objective is to find all the hiding moles throughout the forest.

Throughout your experience in Adrift, you'll walk through a quiet forest and collect materials as you uncover them.

Unlock

Some materials require certain tools to collect them. Use the collected materials to craft specific tools to progress through the chapters.

Chapters

Chapters within the crafting book helps guide your gameplay experience in a linear manner. Follow and use its directions to achieve your next steps.

Discover

Throughout this quiet forest, find hidden objects throughout it using the map and the crafting book. Certain tools discovered throughout your experience will allow you to see these hidden objects and progress.

Map Your Experience

The Map feature is made to help the player track certain points of interest in the forest. Calmy explore the world and draw out the path of the moles tunnels as you discover them.

Walk-Draw

Walk-Draw is a feature given to the player to draw onto the map as you walk around the world rather than stopping and opening the map and physically drawing onto the map; Walk-Draw. This is a quality-of-life mechanic to protect the player's sanity.

Enjoy the calm and unique music choice, produced and composed by ShantHennessy. Relax as you listen to the game album or play the game's theme music on repeat for the ultimate, relax and chill gameplay that a lot of us can use.
