What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Thalyn is a no-code tool for building emotionally coherent 3D worlds you can export to Roblox or as a universal glTF, with Unity marked as a potential future export pathway pending request feedback. The generation engine, asset library, and export pipelines are built and working, but a creative tool like this only gets genuinely good once real people are using it toward their own goals — goals we haven't thought of. We want feedback on scenery variety, the smoothness of the creation flow, and export quality on both platforms. And we want that feedback shaping how far we take custom asset support, before we commit to exactly how it should work.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect around a year, but we'd rather let real feedback decide when the tool is ready to call 1.0 than commit to a calendar date for its own sake. Expect ongoing updates to scenery variety and creation-flow polish throughout.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the built-in variety of species and styles, and to continue refining terrain and biome quality based on feedback. The most-requested direction is deeper custom asset support — letting your own models populate a world more broadly, not only as its centrepiece. We also plan to add cave systems, further export adapters including a free companion importer that rebuilds Thalyn worlds directly inside the Unity Editor, and to keep improving export fidelity across Roblox and glTF as we learn what creators actually need from it.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core world-generation engine is complete and stable: procedural terrain, biome blending, and a curated library of trees, rocks, shrubs, grass and flowers, placed by an emotional-coherence system that keeps a scene's mood consistent throughout. You can bring in your own 3D models — or combine several into a single landmark — and place them directly in your world, with the terrain resolving around them. Generation is deterministic: the same seed always rebuilds the same world, exactly. Export to Roblox and to universal glTF both work today.

There is also an optional VR mode, and it works: the same world, the same first-person walk, with a headset on. It is verified today on a Meta Quest 3 over a wired Link connection — that is the setup we can vouch for. Other SteamVR headsets are not yet verified, and comfort and performance polish is ongoing, so if you walk a world in something else we want to hear exactly what it did. That is precisely the kind of thing Early Access is for.

Generating a new world spends Awen, an in-app credit, and every copy ships with a generous starting grant. Walking, editing, re-skinning and exporting the worlds you've made are free and unlimited.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No — the price you pay in Early Access is the full-release price, and it will not rise at 1.0. We're launching with a 20% discount for the first two weeks to thank the people who show up first.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be running Early Access primarily through our Discord community — sharing what we're working on, gathering feedback on the scenes people try to build and where the tool gets in the way, and using that to prioritise both fixes and the larger planned features, including deeper support for your own custom assets.”

About This Game

Some places feel wrong before you can explain why.

Others feel like home before you've spent a minute in them.

You've never needed that difference explained. You've just never had a tool that could build with it.

Say how it should feel — out loud, typed, or picked — and tell Thalyn what belongs at the heart of it. Thalyn resolves everything else — the lie of the land, where the water sits, how the paths run, which trees grow where, the light, the air — into one coherent, game-ready world you walk in first person and take into Roblox or glTF.

Not a terrain generator. Not an asset pack. A complete world assembled around the models you already have, in minutes, with no code.

Bring your own world's centrepiece

Most generators hand you their world. Thalyn builds one around your assets.

Drop in your own model — a castle, a cottage, a ruin, a monument, a creature — and Thalyn treats it as the reason the world exists. Terrain, sightlines and paths arrange themselves so it sits where it should and stays reachable on foot. Combine several models into a single landmark and the world still resolves around the whole.

The day-one library ships with buildings, landmarks and hundreds of trees, shrubs, rocks and flowers if you'd rather start from what's there.

Give your assets a home from infinite possibilities

Choose the feeling. Everything answers to it.

Six emotional archetypes — Serene, Joyful, Oppressive, Desolate, Eerie, Chaotic — each one driving the entire world, not a colour filter over it. Terrain shape, vegetation species and density, water, fog, sky, time of day, wind and the placement of every object all resolve from the one choice you made.

This is built on environmental psychology — prospect-refuge theory, attention restoration, biophilia — the same research used to design real spaces people want to be in. It's why a Thalyn world reads as deliberate instead of scattered — and why people describe a world you made the way they'd describe somewhere they've been.

Change the entire look in a single selection

Walk your finished world, open the style selector, and choose a different visual character. Every surface, texture and material transforms at once — in real time, while you're standing in it. Not a post-process filter. The whole world.

You'll do it once to see if it's real. You'll keep doing it because the eerie version of your serene valley was, somehow, always there.

Take it to your people

Export any world as a complete, playable Roblox place — terrain, assets, lighting and atmosphere intact - with triangle and memory budgets enforced in the Thalyn app so it runs properly on the devices your players actually use. A starter game pack is included in every export, so there's something to do the moment your friends walk in.

Also exports to glTF for Blender, Godot, Three.js and anything else that reads it.

Exporting never costs credit. It's a pipeline step, not a generation.

A world only you have walked is just a place. Export is how it becomes somewhere.

Deterministic, not generative

Thalyn does not paint worlds with a diffusion model. Every world is built by a rules-based generation engine grounded in ecological and psychological research — which means the same seed always rebuilds the same world, exactly.

Share a seed and someone else stands where you stood — not in an approximation of it. Come back to something you made six months ago and it's still there, unchanged. Nothing you build is at the mercy of a model version.

What one purchase gets you

One purchase. No subscription. One tier.

World generation draws Awen, Thalyn's creative energy. It refills every day, it can be earned by sharing worlds, and it is never sold. Walking, editing, re-skinning and exporting your worlds are all free and unlimited, forever.

Everything you create is yours. Commercially, permanently — including if Thalyn ever stops being sold.

ThalynQuest — free, optional, woven in

A treasure hunt hidden inside your own worlds. Read the riddles, shape the worlds they describe, find seven relics. The rewards are world-building powers and exclusive looks that cannot be bought with money or credit — only walked for.

The tool is complete without it but it does offer a special surprise you can only get through completion.

Who it's for

Roblox creators who are done making worlds that look like everyone else's

Indie developers who'd rather ship the game than lose three weeks to the landscape

Artists and worldbuilders with a model they love and nowhere to put it

Anyone who wants a world that holds together without learning three programs first

No code. No 3D modelling. No asset wrangling. Just your models, your eye, and a world that finally holds together around them.

Ó Senchetel, Beirthir Cach Bith — from ancient song, all worlds are born.
